Q:If mounted in a cinder block wall, what would be the weight baring limit?

Answer This Question
A: Mounted to any wall, good weight bearing. Depending on the type screws used to mount to cement wall, it might actually be better mounted to a good dry wall (no moisture). I would not suggest heavy loading at the front leading edge of the shelf, but close to the wall a quite high since that is where the mounting bracket is.

A: Probably not much better than the rating in the description. I mounted mine in studs, but the metal support doesn't feel very strong.

Q:what is the weight load of the self? and how is it mounted?

A: The directions state 15 pounds. A 3-pronged bracket comes with the shelf - all you have to do is place the bracket on the wall, level it, mark your holes, and drill. Attach the bracket. Slide the shelf onto the bracket and it is done. There are pre-drilled holes on the shelf that line up with the bracket prongs - install screws and it will make the shelf sturdier. The screws came with the shelf. You may need to purchase more mollies than what was provided if you are not hitting the studs.
