It all worked out just fine. Had to locate small length 1 1/2 to reinforce the coupling that was used to hold the two pieces of conduit together. Needed to reinforce the connection of the two pieces of conduit.

I bought this 1.25" conduit to use as an outside...
I bought this 1.25" conduit to use as an outside layer of my 1" conduct as a pole to hang my 16x20 feet shade sail (I put the 1" conduit tube inside this 1.25" tube to make it stronger to withstand the force of the wind. It works really well so far.
