Not as sticky or thick as other brands I've used but gets the job done.

I have used 3 different butyl tapes (1 from an online store, and 2 from big box stores). This has been the easiest to peel off the backing, and the backing tears easily without needed a razor. I applied it at 32 deg. F, and it stuck very well. I was able to stick a little down and then pull the roll with one hand and align the tape with the other all while it remained stuck where I first applied it. You only have seconds to separate it if the sticky side touches itself. Super strong tape.

Does what it needs to. I laid it on joists when it was about 25 degrees outside and still stuck. I've used some bigger name brand decking companies take in the cold and this sticks much better

I purchased 2 rolls to put on deck stair stringers. First set of stringers the tape worked okay just sticky enough to hold . The second roll was terrible would hardly work at all. I wouldn’t buy this brand again. I’m going to try G - tape next time.

Joist tape is an absolute must for deck building and protection. I have used other brands before and this one seems comparable. Although the backing was easy to peel, it should also have a label that doesn't stick to the tape edges!
