Slate gray is not a darker gray like it shows on the can. The final result is a gray or lighter gray and not even close to slate. It looks like every other garage floor paint that's gray and that was not what I was looking for. Painted a little area first and it seems to be a great quality but they need to work on the color.
I used this for my garage, prior to apply the epoxy, cleaned and washed out the floor, then used grease remover to clean the oil or grease spots, cleaning must be done well, then I used a BEHR brand concrete primer. After applying the primer applied the first coat of E1, it covers pretty good as in the picture but you definitely need to put the second coat. Used a 3/8 nap roller. It is water based and easy to work with. My garage is 20x20ft and a 1 gallon is more than enough for two coats. Haven't parked my car yet so if anything comes up will update it here.

I am unhappy because the paint is already lifting where my tires sit.

I wanted to paint and protect the garage floor myself and it was very easy with this product. I felt like I have accomplished much! Although I have tire tread marks where the paint is lifting when it sits in the garage, I even let my car sit outside for a little while so that the tires can cool off before pulling into the garage. What a hassle.
Having the product shipped to me was wonderful and quick.

paint is lifting where tire sits in garage, looks plain
I purchased this product after much research for use on my garage floor. about 8 years ago I had previously coated the floor with the standard garage 2 part epoxy. It was starting to chip where the tires from my cars sat and needed to be redone. The day before I applied the new epoxy, I emptied the garage of items, did a simple cleaning of the floor with soap and water with a mop and let it sit to dry overnite. I used one gallon of the Drylok for a 22x22 two car garage. It coated excellent and I had enough left over to do a second coat to the small areas where my tires sat after the initial 4 hours of setting. I then left the epoxy to dry 24 hours and put all the items back and then a total of 4 days before driving on it. It works great. It's been 2 months with the last week of 90 degree weather and there is no hot tire peel or any issues! It looks and coated great. Only issue I am worried about is how slippery it will be when wet as I did not put anti slip material on it during application.
