I bought these for mounting my new sprinkler controller's to the 1" PVC pipe, they with a little Teflon tape screwed into my controllers gave a leakproof seal, I also used them for my unions to be able to change out any controllers in the future if needed. They have been in service now for a few weeks and no leaks,

Better than expected quality. The fitting is everything it’s supposed to be.

Got the job done - fit and held perfectly on both ends.

I use this one to finish the transition from 3/4" copper pipe to 1" plastic valve. 3/4" copper pipe to 3/4" female copper to 3/4" to 1" plastic adapater to 1" pipe to this one to 1" plastic valve. Work as expected.

Ok but I did not use it. I picked the wrong (outside) pipe diameter. Should measure the inside of pipe to get the diameter!

I have had 3 various Dura fittings split at a GLUE joint not at the threaded joint over time. This fitting only lasted 2 years! If it can’t hold up to this they are crap. This is more Chinese garbage. Never buy

Had to replace sprinkler valve and needed this adapter to mount the valve. Fit great, made the installation easy. Once the glue dried and everything was in place, I let it dry overnight. Next morning, no leaks. I was able to set my automatic timers.

Normal PVC, was easy and no bad seems from the molding process.

1" slip end but NOT, as described, 1" thread. Padding: should be corrected in the description to avoid uneccessary trips back and forth to the store and waiting in line to return and checkout parts wrongly described
