Almost every board was straight and free of major defects

To start, these are about impossible to find in decent shape at the store. Be prepared to dig through the wood stack to find some decent ones. I used these to build a target stand and its holding up great after a couple of months of use. I just staple cardboard to these and if the wood gets damaged they are easily replaceable for little cost. This product did meet my expectations. Please hit thumbs up if this was helpful.

Poor quality, It's hard to find some wood strips that can be used.

Sorted though those available to get some that weren't too warped. Not too knotty. Actual size advertised via "specifications" on website was 1.375 in. x 1.37 in. when the actual size was 1.5 in x 1.5 in. (I had to recalculate dimension of my project). In reality, thickness in both directions varied a 1/16 in. or perhaps a bit more. For my purposes, they were adequate.

This was the first and last time I will ever purchase any lumber sight unseen for pick up. Obviously the person who picks the orders has absolutely zero experience or interest in building. The majority or the pieces are severely warped or of such poor quality, they will only make good kindling. This order was quite disappointing, definitely not the quality I have come to expect when I make an in store purchase. I thought it would save time.

I had to sort through 50+ strips just to find 11 in usable condition. Several were severely warped, twisted, split, or missing large sections of bark - or ALL of the above!

I've been buying 2x2x8 for two years, I use them to make frames for bars to attach the façade, the frame is visible from he inside of the bar, so I was very happy with the finish and feel of this wood and how well it took stains and sealers. Yesterday I went to the Home Depot (Near Colonial dr and Semoran blvd, Orlando, FL) and bought 4 6-packs of 2x2x8, today I opened them up, every single piece was absolute trash, very poorly cut, bent, twisted, with all kinds of marks and black stains, and staples all over the wood. I have 6 leftovers from my last project and the difference is night and day, the branding seems to be different, so I don't think they come from the same mill, however the price is the same (And quite high tbh compared to a year ago). I'm returning all of them and moving on to another construction store that I'll keep from mentioning to avoid biasing this review. Wood was good and straight.

In the past, I have found these 2x2 furring strips to be useful in little projects in the garden and in the barn. Figured I'd order a few for some panels I was building for a chicken project. When I picked them up, I saw they were banana shaped. Should have rejected them at that point. Long story short, if you get them, just pick them yourself, otherwise the Home Depot employees will just pick out the worst ones for you.

When the order was pulled it was filled with mixed lumber of different dimensions. A real pain to deal with.

When I removed the ties from the 2 bundles over half of the boards were bowed

None of it was straight.

7 out of the 12 I purchased were unusable. They were purposefully turned so their good sides were showing in the strapped bundle that was picked by an employee. I didn’t open it until a number of days later and had to buy replacements at a much higher cost to finish my project. I was subsequently refunded money for the 7 boards.

Very straight and solid except for the one that was partially bark (picked out by Home Depot staff).

The pieces picked out for me were completely trashed.

I tried buying it for last 2-3 months for few of my projects. But oh boy i cant believe how bad these wood pieces are. They are basically not usable. It used to be sooooo good that i did many project with these but now its all garbage mostly
