A:  You can use it, but drill holes through it where you're going to anchor it , that way it doesn't split

    A:  if you need these cut you would have to ask your local store where they would be picked up if they are cutting wood yet or not.

      A:  No. Typically ALL such "furring strips" are UN-treated lumber, therefore meant for INDOOR use only. Hope that helps! ;-)
