I would buy it again
This humidifier is one of my best purchases. I’ve had it for two years and it’s made all the difference in my comfort level in the winter here in the Northeast. I’m thinking of buying one for my second floor. The filters are not expensive to replace which is a big plus.

Performs well, but perhaps not as well as my old one. It’s very easy to see the full line if you bend over and look in through the fill door. It’s very well lit. It performs satisfactorily, but not as well out of the box as my old Essick floor model I was replacing. That’s concerning.

Was easy to set up. However all of the fan settings except the lowest is a bit noisy. However I have it set on 40% humidity with the fan set to low and it cycles on and off indicating the lowest fan setting is all that is necessary. Haven't had it long enough to know if it is reliable however their isn't a lot to go wrong. Bottom line is that it works and works well!

It did not produce any humidity. It emitted a foul smell and set off the smoke alarms. I disconnected it from the outlet. It is a very disappointing piece of garbage.

Hello! Based on the description of your issue we believe there is a problem with bacteria growth in your unit. Bacteria such as mold and mildew growth are typically the results of improper care and maintenance. As with any home appliance that uses water, you will need to make sure you keep your humidifier clean and replace the water regularly. Adding our bacteriostat to your water is also very helpful in keeping your water and unit clean. Local humidity levels in your area and the physical location of the humidifier can affect coverage. We recommend positioning your humidifier in the most centrally located room of your house (typically your living room). Having your humidifier in the middle of your home helps the humidity spread more easily and evenly. Our square footage estimates are based on homes with tight construction. Older homes, or those with poor insulation or cracks, may have a larger coverage area. Living in a state with no humidity has been hard on my skin and sinuses. This is supposed to be big enough to handle the entire square footage of my home and I am not sure that it does, but it definitely handles the entire upstairs. Again, my home started with no moisture, and in less than a month my skin feels softer, my sinuses feel better, and this looks nice while doing its job.

We have a 1500 square foot home. We’ve been using it a couple weeks and it works well. The whole thing is plastic, which looks okay, but if it were made of wood, it’d probably quadruple the price.

I believe the rating for 2400 sq feet is a little high. Have been running this now over 2 weeks and can not get much more then 40%. I think that a better user manuel should have been supplied also.

Set up according to the instructions.
Turned unit on and immediately heard a very loud clicking sound, like fan blades hitting something.
This was on LOW.
When I increased the speed it became intolerable.
Immediately shut off and checked for a reason. Every seemed to be fine so I tried again.
No good, still a very loud noise, no way this could be normal.
Disassembled unit, reboxed and returned.
Terrible piece.

Does not humidify enough for 2,500 square feet
The humidifier struggles to put enough moisture in the air when outside temps go below 50 degrees in Ohio. The last few days temps were from 10 to 20 degrees with outdoor humidity below 40. And this unit could not keep indoor humidity above 40.

poor quality control in factory
Had one a long time ago, and it was made with better materials, i.e. metal fan instead of plastic. Got this one and the fan blades were scraping the housing, making a terrible noise, then one of the blades broke off before I could shut it off. Do not recommend.

Would not buy again
The filter holder is impossible to open to replace the filter and the float is so flimsy it has a small dimple in it and does not work. It did do the job of keeping the humidity level.

Noisy
I have had the unit for just over a weel and it provides adequate humidification, but the fan motor makes a very unacceptable humming noise at any speed other than the lowest speed. The fan air noise is not overly loud, just the humming noise is too annoying. Will be returning the unit.
