Do not buy this product. We bought four of these and none of them worked. The outlet connector is supposed to be a 1/2" standard FNPT but it seems to be metric. The faucet threads on just fine but not the outlet valve on all four kits. Maybe there is a metric to standard converter available, but we were not able to find one. The Anzzi tech support is no help at all. I received multiple auto emails, and requests to rate their support, but no solution to the problem. Pick something more reliable.

Had plumber install. Very sturdy product; unfortunately, the water pressure wasn’t very good, so opted to keep old handheld showerhead on. Works perfectly! Wish the shower arm was longer too so the rainfall feature could be enjoyed without hugging the faucet so closely.

I have now installed six of these fixtures in one home. Installation is insane. Instructions are non-existent. While the majority of components are high quality, a couple critical parts are plastic. This product has the look...modern, euro, classy, but I would not recommend, unless you have full access to the back side of the wet wall during installation.

This shower kit is on another level of quality...I along with others cannot immediately use this because I was unaware of certain plumbing parts that will need to be swapped out within the wall in order to make this work. However, upon opening the box I was immediately stunned by the amount of careful consideration that went into packaging everything in the box. From the pictures I've included you can see just how much effort went into ensuring the package arrives safely and in one piece. In order for me to install this I will need to remove the existing fiberglass shower installation I have and install the new plumbing connection that comes included with this and then tile around it. I apologize that I can speak for functionality from the point of having this installed, but a lot of work went into making this product and there is little doubt in my mind that this won't amaze me. Most parts included are solid metal and most are polished chrome. With a chrome finish comes a lot of finger prints, but that is expected. Overall it's a beautiful product, almost a piece of art. Exceptionally crafted and certainly built to last.

Wow. But be careful. Once you see and feel this you may not be satisfied with anything else. Most parts are metal, well made and solid, quite heavy in fact. Installation is a bit more than anticipated as we'll most likely need to cut and replace tiles to install.The plumbing to our main bath and shower runs through a free standing wall with an access panel in the back, but it still looks like we're gonna have to take out and replace at least some tile. I got another shower set, different brand, just in case this one wouldn't fit, but the difference in quality is substantial We decided to go for the bigger job and use this much nicer set. The chrome finish is super shiny. I took pics outside in the sun and you can see the reflection of tree branches 15 feet away. You can easily see finger prints too, (something to keep in mind.) Still, beautiful shower and bath set. Pretty slick.

Right when I got it, it is well packaged, it includes the instructions and everything needed to be installed, The instructions are clear and very easy to understand, it looks overwhelming at first with all the pieces but it is not hard to install, but definitely not for beginners. If uncomfortable installing it, just get a plumber to do the work. The final outcome looks awesome. the feel of every part of this elegant Shower set is great. the temperature of the water is steady. the flow of the water is soothing. it is easy to use and it is also easy to clean since it is chrome.

The first thing any shopper should know upfront, is that this Anzzi Byne Single Handle Wall Mounted Showerhead And Bath Faucet Set In Polished Chrome is intended for new construction. If you are hopeful, as I was, that it could be retro-fitted, know that will not work. My shower has porcelain tile walls, and the only way to install this will be to remove the tile, so that the valve that is included can be installed behind the wall. That being said, it is a absolutely beautiful shower set, and I cannot fault it one little bit for the quality of materials they have built in. The instructions are rather skimpy, and that could be improved. I will have no trouble installing it, but some people may get frustrated by the instructions. Installation is rather intuitive, if you think it through ahead of time. They even provide you with a roll of Teflon plumber's tape to seal the threads, which I thought was a nice touch. Packaging was impeccable, and arrives beautifully packed. Until I can finish demolishing the tile wall, I did test out the overhead rain shower sprayer, and the handheld sprayer, by temporarily connecting them to the existing shower elbow. Both have a gentle, yet solid spray. By that, I mean it isn't going to rip your skin off, but at the same time, since the little streams of water are placed so close together, the combined effect is more than adequate for rinsing shampoo out of your hair, which is always a good test of a shower's function. Most of the parts are made of metal, so they should hold up and last a very long time. All in all, I am very happy with this shower set, and would indeed recommend it to anyone looking for both quality of materials, good function, and a gorgeous style design. and strongly discouraged me from using this. Some of his phrases were, "not standard", "opening walls", "cheap parts", "exposed hose". I returned it.

Looks a lot cheaper then it really is and I feel I am not getting what I paid for.

The quality of materials is excellent but the installation a headache. I had a professional contractor install it as part of a bathroom remodel. The difficulty had to do with the vague instructions and they don’t mention what adapters need to be purchased to hook up the plumbing pieces.

The plumber did say a piece of information that normally comes with products such as this was not in the box with the other instructions. So he had to call the help line. He was not happy with their response because they suggested he install flexible hose into the wall which he refused to do. He said he would figure it out. He installed copper pipe in the walls and finished the installation.

This is the third product from Anzi that I have purchased and installed in my home, by far I am the most unhappy with this one. It looks great coming out the box. It is well packaged for shipping without any issues concerning damage. The instructions are in metric, which has been mentioned in another review so I won't harp on the need for making the conversions available when shipping to the US. Most DIYers are unwilling to go through the additional time of converting everything before taking on a complicated install such a shower unit. The practicality/durability of the supply to the shower head being exposed is still question for me. I thought I would like the look more that I do in actuality. There are too many plastic parts for my liking for a unit at this price point. Again only time will tell as for the durability of the finish and function of these parts. The large rain head does deliver a good amount of water when showering, but the pressure lost when trying to use both the shower head and the wand simultaneously makes the experience lacking. There needs to be a pressure balancing valve installed between the two to ensure that when using both the pressure is uninterrupted and equal. Yes it is a extra cost but using this unit without the balance valve makes for an unpleasant experience. I would rather not have the option of using both simultaneously than using them both with such results. If you have a guest bathroom that doesn't get used too often and you want something installed that looks different and does function well on some level, this could be the one for you. I am holding onto the hope that I won't be ripping this thing out in a year and replacing with something else.

I always attempt to find what I do not like, and the areas of a product I like. This Anzzi tub & shower is heavy, which usually indicates a very well made product. I also like the appearance of the product. I have not installed this unit yet, because I will be needing tile replacement due to I currently have a 3 handle tub/shower unit. When I first went to install the unit. I read through the instructions. Being an ex-carpenter and in the USA, I expected to see at least one version for Imperial measurements. There are some Imperial measurements in the installation guide, however they decimals and not fractions. I know how to do conversions from decimals to fractions, but when you have for instance a decimal of .77, .63, .38 and such, it's a bit of a close enough situation instead of being accurate. Look at illustration #1 in the installation guide. Can anyone tell me how big of holes to be drilled? Without converting MM to Imperial, how far apart are the holes? I realize Metric is used throughout the European world, but since this product is sold in the USA, maybe Anzzi should consider putting clear instructions for those of us still using Imperial measurements. The instructions are a huge down fall for us using the Imperial system. Also in the instructions I hunted to see how far to mount the shower head from the diverter. I can not find this information. When I do go to install, I do not want the hose being loose at these 2 points. I'm not really crazy about this hose being exposed on the outside of the wall. I would think Anzzi could design a chrome sleeve to hide the hose. Or, why have the supply line to the shower head on the shower side at all? My current tub/shower faucet has the supply to the shower hidden behind the wall. I just think if someone were to slip, natural reaction would be to grab the exposed hose, even though I have grab bars inside the shower. All in all, maybe it's just me not keeping "up" with the times and this may be a show piece for the bathroom.

If you are interested in turning your bathroom into a luxury bathroom, this wall mounted showered with the bath face in polished chrome will take you there! Lets start with the material. Once you open the box you see a very well packaged product, and as you dig through all the pieces; you notice how sturdy and top notch the polished chrome parts are. I would say that be prepared to hire a handy man if you are not handy yourself to install this as most likely, if you don't have a wall mounted system, that you may have to cut into your tile in order to install this (which is normal for all wall mounted shower heads, not just this one). Overall I'm very very happy with this shower head. The pressure is top notch and the direct shower on top is a new take on showering if you are not used to it (but believe me you will never want to go back!)
