Somewhat awkward to calibrate the rainfall. Might be easier to calibrate after final installation by comparing the reading to another measuring device, then adjusting accordingly. Also, the calibration instructions for other functions, especially the barometric pressure, could be written in more detail. Overall however, l am very satisfied so far.

It worked fine for about a month and then just stopped working

A fun and accurate instrument. I have it beside my lounge chair and keep track of the weather as it is happening. Easy set up and calibration.

Excellent product

I'm enjoying the AcuRite Pro 5-in-1 Color Weather Station. Installation was easy and it appears to be extremely accurate. I like the memory function that keeps all the daily, 7 day, and all time records.The only problem seems to be in the forecasting area. Basically mine has the "Sunny" symbol with the "Rain" symbol below it.....nonstop. I'm in Southern California.....and there is currently a ZERO chance of rain here for the foreseeable future according to the National Weather Service....but yet the "cloud with rain" emblem remains.

Easy set up, little tedious calibrating the rain gauge but love the unit. Display is very easy to read. It gives you this built in level bubble but hard to see 15ft in the air. Still would recommend this unit.

This is one of the better weather stations I have purchased. Temp is right on, wind speed is right on and I have to calibrate rain gauge. Been cold and snowy with rain at time. Wind direction is great too. Be certain to follow direction as I did and all will be excellant.

This particular item can not be rated at this time due to the fact that it was purchased as a birthday gift and it will not be given until the end of April. But I was able to rate this because I own a similar item.

Sensor was easy to install it has limited range not 300 feet not even close

The color monitor with large symbols numbers and letters was great

3rd one I have bought in 12 years. loved the units. I live in southern Texas. stands up to all the extremes that we have here. Love the simplest.pete

It didn't work right out of the box. No communication between the 2 units. Took it back to Home Depot.

Works great!! We really like the ticker tape below that gives current highs, lows and wind speeds. With the display lit it's easier to read from across the room, too.

I've had an older version of this product for over 5 years My problem with it is that I installed the outside unit 5' above my roof. Being older and not as stable as I once was, me climbing onto the roof for battery changes and maintenance has become a "don't do that, old man". I set this one 5' feet above ground level. The inside unit is easy to see with its brighter, colored display. I like that it's a pretty much on spot predicter of what weather to expect. It keeps track of rainfall over period of time, temperature highs and lows, and wind highs...not things you Need to know, just interesting to know. The inside unit is powered from the house power with battery backup in case of power outage. Having said all this, I am extremely happy with it.

I can't get the job outside humidity to work.

Looks great in color works as it should a lot of information easy to set up and install.

A great weather station. Good features and easy setup. You may need a rod or pipe to mount the outdoor sensor on. The humidity reading is a little off but otherwise pretty accurate.

Unfortunately the unit I received did not function out of the box. Either the receiver failed to receive the signal sent by the sending unit or the sending unit failed to send a signal. Tried all three channels and two different sets of new batteries in both units. Got no response so I returned the unit in the shipping box and got a full refund. I give Home Depot a Thank You for taking the unit back and authorizing a refund without any problems..

Had one of these just about the same for years. This one I like even better because it displays the indoor and outdoor temperature at the same time.Very nice product.Thank you.

This was a replacement for an old Weather Station that quite working Outside installation was easy because of the replacement. The inside unit took some thought in placement. The old unit worked off batteries and was very easy to read. This unit was dull until you pressed the light button, but it didn't stay lite very long so I had to devise a hide away cord set-up to keep it plugged into 110. All in all a good unit......
