I can't really tell you if this works or not (i.e., does it kill mold, etc.) because I have no way of testing that. But I will tell you about my experience with it. It is extremely easy to set up - you just plug it in. It's not too heavy. There is a single button that you press to choose the light color. I set mine on the changing mode where it gradually shifts through the colors. The light isn't overly bright so I was able to sleep with it in the room and it was relaxing to watch. It's very quiet - I don't hear it at all. The instructions warned that the unit would get a little warm with use, and that is true. The instructions also warned that there could be a slight odor for the first few days of use. I noticed it for the first few hours but now I don't smell it anymore. If this is effectively purifying the air, it's a great little thing! It's nice that this doesn't require any filter changes like the other air purifiers that I have in my home.

We have been running this game-changer in our bedroom for almost two weeks. My husband has always struggled with allergies and sinus issues and we have tried dozens of remedies with varied results, many of which are chemical in nature. We have dogs and a parrot in the house as well as house plants and certainly dust - all of which probably contribute to the allergies. I must say I was skeptical of this at first. It makes zero noise and you really cannot tell if it is doing anything or not at first other than it is warm to touch. The nightlight business was not important to us at all so we turned that feature off although it is done in pretty colors if you are into that sort of thing. Sooooo, we put this on a nightstand and plugged it in. My husband was even more skeptical than I was but admitted after night two that he seemed to feel better. Now after night 10 he definitely feels better. The instructions say there is no maintenance other than dusting the top and that it should be left in one room to do its thing. I am very pleased with our results so far and optimistic that we have finally found something that might help and that isn't using chemicals to work.

Working in a medium sized room with six little children that range from 2 to 5 years old you always have the sniffles going around. To help cut down on these pesky sicknesses we got this air purifier with the hopes of cutting down the number of things in the air. This is a great purifier because it is filterless and it doesn't make any noise to distract the kiddos in the daycare room. We got the black one and it does come in different colors. The different color of lights that can be turned on on the top are nice for a night light when the kiddos go down for naps in the darkened room. The purifier has been working for about a month and we have seen a decrease in the kiddos with the sniffles. It doesn't distract from the room with noise or smell. It runs quiet and it seems to work real well so far.

Iris 3000, one word INCREDIBLE. totally silent, plugged in and said is it on, no noise, vibrations nothing. Little blue indicator light confirms AirFree is indeed running. Does it work, yes indeed it certainly does. Iris 3000 will purify a 650 sq ft room within 24 hours How do I know, I have a guest room that sits mostly with the door closed. Due to all of the rain we had the room smelled musty. I placed scented candles in the room to mask the smell, sprayed Lysol and other odor eliminators. This would be great for a babies room Airfree sits about 11 inches high and 8 inches wide and weighs 3.5 pounds, attached is a 51 inch power cord. I plugged it in, shut the door and waited the recommended 24 hours. To be honest I periodically went back in the room to smell, each time the odor was less and less, a day and a half odors were gone. No bucket to empty, no filters to clean or change. The air is drawn in through the bottom and the ceramic core sterilizes the air passes through the cooling chamber and fresh clean air is released back into the air. This in fact blows my mind, totally silent, small, light weight, no buckets or filters all while conveniently cleaning the air I breath I will permanently place the Iris in my bedroom in which I sleep with 3 dogs until I notice the musty odor returns. It is stated to keep the air clean the unit has to be placed in the area and continue running. I wanted this for my room but used temporary to eliminate musty smell. Added features are 10 colors to choose from as a night light or choose to have lights change colors or light can remain off. Recommended to place the air purifier Approximately 3 feet off the ground and Surrounding area open for air flow I am absolutely amazed at what this does with no sound what so ever, Loving the convenience of Technology

This air purifier is amazing! I have tried using one many years ago, but all it did back then was pull in dust and the filter needed constant cleaning. I did not have much faith in this type of product, but this purifier changed my mind. I could not believe that the day after I plugged this appliance in, I have stopped my constant sniffling! The air and contaminants are pulled in on the bottom, purified and cooled, then released from the top. This air purifier has no filters to change, it runs silently, and has a pleasant 10-color LED night light that can be adjusted to a solid color, a variety of random colors, or off by simply touching the front panel. Each press of the front sensor changes the color or intensity or turns the light off. To achieve a random selection of colors, scroll to the pink and let it be. The colors I see are Red, Pink, Violet, Blue, Aqua, Green, Yellow, Orange, Beige, and White. I like that there are notches in various positions on the bottom for the cord. The 2-prong round cord is about 58" long. The shape is triangular but rounded and there are 3 sets of 2-indentation grips around the sides for easy lifting. Airfree destroys airborne mold and mildew spores, viruses, pet dander, dust mite allergens, organic odors, bacteria, ozone, and pollens. It uses only 52 watts of electricity and comes with a 2-year warranty.

I purchased two for my home back in 2012 and they have been running flawlessly for 8 years. It is one of the most tested products on the market. Made In Portugal since 2004.

The Best thing I have ever bought!!! I have never in my life time been able to sleep without waking up several times a night because I couldn't breath. Talk about a breath of fresh air!!!!!! I have tried everything. Even my husband doesn't snore as loud. No sound at all.

The Airfree Iris 3000 Filterless Air Purifier is awesome . It's easy to place in a room because it doesn't take up a lot of space.The Iris Purifier kills mold, bacteria, pollen, no need to change the filter . purifier runs in silent mode. I would recommend this product to everyone who has trouble breathing with allergies of all types. They are extremely easy to setup, as all one does is plug it in and they can be placed anywhere.

It doesn't seem to work better than HEPA air filters for me and the cost in electricity doesn't provide any savings over replacing filters. In NJ with current electric rates it would cost a little more than $65 a year in electricity. It didn't seem to do much for air quality in my case either. While I'm sure the heat produced by the device can kill the microorganisms it claims the issue is that the convection created by heat just isn't enough to cycle enough air through the unit from the entire room.

Purifiers the air without a fan, filter and uses heat to destroy microorganisms to purify the air. That's the short of it, it makes no noise and the only way I know it's running is the heat rising from it and the colored night light. The only real maintain I see is dusting it off like any other thing in the room. The air does have a fresh smell to it, a change from the lite musty room smell it had. It works by heat; 400* and destroys, 'incinerates' mold, dust mites, bacteria, viruses, pollens, pet dander, tobacco and other organic allergens to clean the air. As they state 'Just plug it in and let it do the job' no on/off switch, timers or setting other than being able to change the night lights color. There it is, small unit for rooms up to 650 sq. ft, comes with a 2 yr warranty and in my few weeks using it told me anything is it "Works".

Amazing product so easy to use, just plug in. Reasonable price in comparison to other products and you don't have to keep purchasing filters. Quiet and love the night light. For the first time in years my husband can breath and sleep through the night

I've had the air purifier about three weeks now and as an allergy sufferer I can tell a big difference - especially at night when doors are not opening and closing allowing non-purified air to enter the space.. I used to cough and sneeze quite a bit at night while reclined - now I'm sleeping much better. It's totally quiet and other than a warm shell you don't even know if its on. Great for a bedroom but is good in any.

I have several air purifiers in my house and ALL have expensive filters that need to be changed often until now.This AIRFREE IRIS has no filters to replace or any other service other than to wipe off any dust that might form on its shiny exterior. It looks like something out of star wars. The unit is totally silent which is a plus.I wanted to give it a good test by placing it downstairs where my daughter is supposed to smoke outside by the back door. We have always had the smoke smell coming upstairs but after just two days of constant use the smell is gone.But where does everything this thing collects go to you may ask.There is nothing to clean, the unit draws in the air from the bottom of the unit and travels up through a sterilizer chamber then exits out of the cooling chamber.AMAZING....PLUS IT.S NOT MADE IN CHINA..

Definitely notice the improvement in the quality of air. Runs nearly silent. Heat is minimal.
