A flimsy design that could possibly pass if they only provided better bolts to attach the toilet seat. Plastic screws are usually OK but they have to be much thicker than the metal screws. They provided plastic screws that were so thin within a month of use broke and required replacements.. NO REASON FOR THIS! I’M PURCHASING REPLACEMENT BOLTS OTHERWISE THIS WOULD JUST GO INTO THE LANDFILL.

So far so good. I have not had 2 of them long. I hope they last as long as my old one's did. The ones I exchange these for lasted from 2001 to now. That's when we purchase the house. I will let ya'll know how these worked out.

I'm usually satisfied with American Standard products but not this one. First thing l noticed after installing it, one of the 2 clips wouldn't stay shut, it kept popping up. Then l noticed the round seat is shorter & does not fully cover the porcelain like my last round toilet seat. I find this odd because I believed all round toilet seats were the same size. I will be returning.

I just ordered 2 of these seats because of the great reviews. These are a joke. SOOOO thin and flimsy! I’m not even going to install them. I’m trying right now to return them as I ordered these online. That is beginning another problem with how to just simply return these cheap pieces of …… I have NO idea how these got the great reviews they received online. Do Not Bother Purchasing this item! Look at the photos below, That is the entire thickness of the seat. You must be joking….. No wonder they don’t show the seat from a closed front view.

I always purchased and used the No Slam Toilet Seat. Due to my arthritis and stiffness in my hip flaring up as a Senior Citizen, I requested an ADA complaint toilet from my property management. The ADA complaint toilet was installed and I went to Home Depot last night and purchased the Cadet Slow Close Elongated Closed Front Toilet Seat. I love this toilet seat and it sits comfortably for me as a man weighing 180 pounds and 6 feet tall. This toilet seat is very easy to clean.

Quiet close seat works well. Looks fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet seat is great for those with children at home. It closes very slowly and without any noise! It fits perfectly in my toilet event though it is from a different brand. The design is modern and sleek, easy to clean and durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Install was very easy. Quality of toilet seat itself is fantastic. The biggest area of opportunity or concern are the bolts that attach the seat to the toilet. These are made of plastic. Because of this they are not very heavy duty and when being used with an added bidet it seems to be placing to much pressure on the nut and everyone in awhile they separate and the bolt comes off. If they were made of metal there would be no issue. But since they are plastic it is my biggest concern. But a very easy fix of going to the hardware store and swapping out for metal bolts and nuts. The seat lines up well and is simple in design. For a quick replacement this is a solid product.

The toilet seat is a perfect fit and an excellent replacement for the older “wooden” seat. It was easy to install. Really like the easy closing to prevent breakage.

Easy to assemble and matches toilet well!

Fits beautifully and it’s nice not to hear the lid slam.

The second day after we installed the toilet seat one of the plastic screws snapped in two.

Have used these seats before,. Very sturdy with some flexibility. Good buy.
