I have the kit so the rivets in all sizes was useful. Smallest 3/32 on galvanized roof edge trim. Larger on panel overhangs.

I’ve used this RST3000 rivet tool on a few projects since purchasing it. Puller bolt broke while in the midst of a project recently. Ended up getting a RT188M from Lowe’s to finish job. Very disappointing. RST300 was also very hard to squeeze plus rivet pins would get jammed inside. Would never buy this tool again.

i have looked for a way to take a piece of the rivet out of the tool, it seems that last rivet wire is stuck traped insied the tool, but no idea on how to disassemble| or how to take it out? or how to replae the tool for a new one? or how this this happen and why?

I was riveting some footholds in my kayak when all of a sudden it quit drawing the rivet when squeezing the handle. I disassembled it and found that the barrel separated from the lever where it is brazed together. A weak point for sure or just a bad braze. Very disappointed with it. Swivel head is a good idea though.

I'm using rivet gun going from aluminum no problem cut them fine switched over to use the steel one and first one on it the head broke. Had the tool for years. And you can see from the pictures where it shared off using arrow rivets went from aluminum to the steel.

I bought an Arrow Swivel Head Rivet Tool some years ago to repair a broken, Made in China, BBQ panel, I used 4 rivets at the time. Yesterday, I tried to used it to repair a Made in China, "top end", two drawers Husky desk. Then, when I needed to install the new sliders received from Home Depot's CSPS partner company, I needed to connected with two rivets. The tool failed. I looked in YouTube how to disassemble it, and I found that the iron block that it was attached to the main barrel was separated from it. I noticed both parts came welded with brass, when that entire part itself it must be designed to support the highest stress in the tool. Today, I have tried to stick welding both parts together, and after I did it tacking it, it failed again. Conclusion: I will not longer recommend Arrow tools.

I purchased this tool because it is Arrow and the swivel head rivet tool RHT300 looked pretty stout since it is "steel" and should last a long time. That is far from the truth! This tool literally shattered and broke because it is pot metal and cannot handle too much use. I was right in the middle of my project on the second rivet with 30 more to go and adhesive setting when it failed leaving me in a pinch. Now I had to buy another rivet gun, new aluminum sheet and have to redo all my efforts again. This was a real let down.

Purchased this particular tool because (1) it was from Arrow, (2) it had a swivel head that looked like it would be useful, and (3) it was heavy and seemed like it would last a long time. The tool fell apart after about 35 aluminum rivets as I was installing lights on my trailer. Arrow used to be a name I looked for and respected for the quality and life of the tool. No more. 0 stars would be more accurate. Set one rivet, and the remaining cut piece is permanently stuck in the rivet gun. Will be taking back.

Barely used, head split out after second 3/16ths rivet.

This appeared to be a quality tool and has a good feel. The swivel head is a good idea. I'd run approximately 12 aluminum nail 1/8" rivets through it with no issues. Switched to a 3/16" steel nail rivet. First off, even after lubing the riveter, it took nearly all the strength I had to pop the rivets. On the third rivet, the head split down the middle on the end, almost all the way to the nose. Additional smaller splits are also present on the sides of the head about 3/"8 back from the end face (the the large split is).The body of the head needs to be thicker or something other than what appears to be cast aluminum/zinc.

The swivel head is a great idea and design . It was a little finicky at first but with a little W-D, I was able to get it working pretty good pulling most rivets in about three pumps. Unfortunately, after pulling only about 50 rivets, the draw bolt broke where it connects to the handle. After looking at where it broke I could see that it was cast, or pot looking metal not a grade bolt and I believe that is why it broke. If you are only using it for small rivets this would probably work pretty good...

Had unit for about a year but it broke after less than ~30 rivets. The weld between the steel block and the cylinder that holds the grips & spring broke, now it won't pull to set the rivet. Poor workmanship and quality control.

Had a small job to rivet on a hinge, could not figure out why I couldn't set the rivet. noticed the gun split down the center of the housing. Left me with half of a job not done. The gun has been used less then 20 times. Reviewed the specs on the gun and was very disappointed to see the call out the gun is all steel construction when obviously the housing is made of cast aluminum. Seems like a total misleading spec callout. Thought I was buying the top of the line rivet gun, turns out spent way to much money on a very large disappointment. If you need a gun to rivet everyday for professional use, do not purchase this unit.

I had this product for a few years and only Used occasionally. I guess mine lasted a little longer than most before it split in three places. Like I said it's been a few years. I'm sure the receipt is lost by now. I will have to admit it did set that last river before it bit the dust. It probably set 50 rivets before it broke. Not Worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had arrow for a long time. My home rivet gun is over 25 years old. I bought the new one for work. Same thing with my staple gun a T-50. 20 years old and still works great These just don't wear out. Arrow has been a long term investment without a long term price

Easy to use, the swivel head is nice for tight areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was just looking for supplies to repair some parts on SeaDoo I purchased when I found an Arrow swivel head rivet tool. I knew I would have more than a few places that I would struggle to get the fasteners into without having to remove parts of the engine and air filters. I thought it was a gimmick tool but worth a try. I can not believe how much easier it was to get to some crazy locations in a very tight spaces. I wish I would have purchased this tool years ago but this was the first time I had found anything like this in my local hardware store. I highly recommend the swivel head for anyone looking to purchased a new tool or even to add to an existing tool collection!

It is an upgrade to models like the RHT300, but there is no review page for the new RT300S currently. I even convinced my wife to do the last rivet and then we watched a video about the Rosie ladies of WWII. Together, we tackled a repair that had been postponed for a long time. The RT300S made it so quick and easy, I felt silly for taking so long to buy a tool some rivets. I thought the process would be more complicated than it was. The RT300S has a universal head to fit different rivet sizes with no fumbling required. I only leave reviews when I feel like I got my money's worth. I'm honestly ranting & raving about the RT300S.
