Worst Paint HORRIBLE coverage Dries OFF COLOR
Pain and Primer sounds like a timesaver, but coverage is bad , Cream white dried GREY, is different depending how you apply it. The ceiling : builder has semi gloss white (original) and last owner put flat tan. Two coats, 2 hours got bleed through. Two lite coats of cut-in using a new brush=ALL AROUND CEILING DRIED GREY. HOW? Day 2, applied a THIRD full coat and cut it again, and still GREY. NOW NEEDS A FOURTH COAT, making six layers of paint over drywall. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE PAINT.

THE WORST
This paint is the worst paint I’ve ever used. I’ve always used Sherwin Williams paint on my 100 year old house. We recently moved into a house that was built in the 1970’s. I painted the trim with the Behr paint. I gave the trim 2 coats and it still needed more. Additionally, it peeled in multiple places. I’ll be going back to Sherwin Williams

To fix the peeling, I recommend removing any loose coating, scuff sanding the edges using 120 grit sandpaper, cleaning with a damp cloth to remove sanding dust, and letting it dry before touching up and recoating if needed. We loved the color, but it did not cover as well as promised. The paint is supposed to be a paint and primer. We have applied 2 coats and can still see the tape and bedding lines through the paint. The paint was not available to buy in store, so we had it shipped. 2 of the containers must not have been sealed all the way because they leaked out during shipment. I guess we're going to have go over the area with kilz then try again. It just feels like we wasted our money by buying a paint that didn't cover as well as promised.

I used to love Behr paint!
We just bought a can of Marquee paint for our stairway and hallway in Creamy Mushroom and there were chunks of I don't know what inside the can of paint which was shaken at the store just prior.
I had to pick the chunks off the wall with every roller of paint I applied to the wall.
I have never had issues with Behr and we've been using this brand from Home Depot for over 20 years.
Way too expensive for these issues.
I have to say I wouldn't even recommend this product right now.
So disappointed.

Hello LenBen, thank you for your review. I'm so sorry to hear about the chunks in your paint. That is not the quality we expect of our products. Our Marquee Paint should have an even and creamy consistency. If that is not the case, I recommend stirring the product for around 3-5 minutes. It's best to stir all containers before using, even if they've been shaken, as the shaking is designed to incorporate color and may not stir the product completely. Poor coverage and peeling
Even after two coats, there were patches of poor coverage that I had to go back and touch up. I’ve also found a few places where this paint is peeling. I touched most of them up day one, but it’s been a week and I just found another spot. I might honestly end up painting over this with a different brand in three months if it keeps doing this.

Water
I think I bought the right paint. It’s white with primer. Painting door frames and I stored well and it’s more like water. Looks right in the can, but definitely not on the surface I’m painting. Is this a bad batch?

Well, I used it to cover a darker color, it didn't turn out so bad, but to be a base and paint in one that is supposed to be in one coat. I feel that in the preparation it needs more white paint, thanks for taking me into account.

Best brand by far! this was my first time painting on my own, and I didn’t know where to start or how it would look. This brand is absolutely the best. It had low odor, barely any. Fast dry time and fast second coat dry time. Which is what I needed in a apartment. Thank you!

As a trim paint, this does not cover.
I'm not anti-Behr. Other wall (eggshell) colors in this line work fine. I actually wonder if Behr may have cheapened this ultra white, because I don't remember it being inferior, but this semi-gloss, used as a trim color, simply refuses to cover, creating a whole lot of extra work.

The color was not as expected? It should have been white and looks white on top of the can, but on the trim boards, up next to the white already there, it is gray! Can I return it?

Finish looks high end.
Great paint for bathroom or kitchen. In general great paint where a semi gloss sheen is needed or wanted. I used this paint in my bathroom. The semi gloss sheen is easy to clean and maintain.
