Bemis missed the mark with this setup...
Concept makes sense. Execution is lousy. Easy lock hinges DON'T lock. Do yourself a favor and stick with standard mount hinges.

Great Toilet Seat
This is my second seat from this manufacturer, the first one having lasted about 5 1/2 years, I think. It works well and does what it is supposed to do. It is also easy to install . I will buy another when the time comes.

Might not come with attachment bolts
toilet seat works well. problem was that there were not installation bolts/screws. luckily the lid it was replacing had the same connections.

short life
After 3 years slow clse does not work. Bemis customer support says that you cannot replace the mechanism or hinges that cause it to slow close. We'll be looking for a brand that has the future with replaceable and just. The stay tight feature is really nice however they left out parts that I had to have replaced when I bought mine but overall for 3 1/2 years it was a good seat.

I bought this because the paint of two previous toilet...
I bought this because the paint of two previous toilet seats I had from this company wore badly after only a couple of years. This plastic one is fine thus far but is not as comfortable as the wooden one. But that’s OK.

I hate plastic toilets seats but I was tired of...
I hate plastic toilets seats but I was tired of constantly replacing the wood seats due to staining and peeling from cleaning chemicals. I read online to go with a high quality seat so decided to try these. Very impressed with the quality and sturdiness. You don’t slide around like you do on those thin and cheap plastic seats. Worth the money.

Poor close
Bought this 3 months ago, closed soft at the start and now doesn't. No way to adjust ? Paid $100 for this item and no longer works like it did out of the box.

Ridiculous screw idea
It seems odd that you must break the device in order to install it. What designer/engineer would require you to break the bolts while tightening the seat to install it? Do you need to buy new breakable screws to reinstall it if it is removed for cleaning? Disappointingly stupid design.

Replacing the same seat. Easy to install and a little better design where the bolts are concerned than the old one. Should last longer because of this. No regrets.

Perfect fit, sturdy and easy to install. I have ordered a total of three with one being tan in color. They all meet my expectations. I have had one of them for a year now. It is still as tight and snug as it was the day I installed it. Love the no slam ability!

No more sliding
My previous seat slid slightly to the side everytime I sat on it, startling me No more ...I also like the look of the seamless profile of the seat with the slow silent closing lid.

This part made replacement of my broken seat very easy....
This part made replacement of my broken seat very easy. Color match was fine. Only negative was I used it to replace one I bought and installed a few years ago that had one hinge break at a thin point as the plastic around the hinge was not of uniform thickness.
