I love this edger! This is my second purchase of this model B&D edger. My first one lasted for 7 years of pretty heavy usage before the bearings gave out. Powerful. Dependable. Easy to assemble and operate. Cuts a neat, clean edge. Definitely recommend!

This edger is perfect for my needs. I live on a corner lot and the edger gives my yard a professional finished look. It's easy to use and works perfect.

I love this product. The one that I have been using for 12 years quit working. Not sure if motor burned up or a problem in the switch. So this my 2nd machine.

Lawn Edger
This edger is okay but only if used on smooth surfaces. It bounces all the the grass on uneven surfaces.

Junk tool and the reviews are false
I took back two, unused. The first you could see it was not assembled correctly at the factory; the edge guard wouldn't move correctly. On the second one the depth wheel does not move. At all. You can loosen the bolt all you want it's stuck, and I'm not the one to take it apart to see if it can be fixed. I shouldn't have to. It's unused.
Don't buy these. They are about as cheap plastic as you can get and with these factory problems I can't imagine it lasting.
Also as one reviewer pointed out - a lot of the reviews on here aren't even for the Edge tool. Fraudulent promotion, not to be trusted.

It works fine for maintenance edging. I don’t recommend it for heavy duty work.

SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME LOOKING FOR AN INEXPENSIVE EDGER TO CUT OVERGROWTH THE OLD FASHIONED WAY (WITH A METAL BLADE. STRING TRIMMERS CAN'T COMPETE WITH THE RESULTS OF AN EDGER. LOVE THE LOOK THAT THIS MACHINE DOES COMPARED TO A TRIMMER.
