        A:  For Trenching - To return edge guide to lower position, pull lever sideways and push down until guard tab fits into upper lever hole. NOTE: You may need to tilt edger back to allow edge guide to be moved into trenching position. These instructions can be found on page 5 of your owners manual as well.
