[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought and assembled a Verona pergola to provide privacy for the hot tub on my deck. The materials were excellent, both cedar lumber and hardware. The assembly instructions were a bit vague, but in combination with the BILT app the assembly process was very straightforward. One note , if the hot tub has a cover caddy the cover will not clear the pergola structure. I had to raise the whole pergola 3 inches using blocks under the posts to allow the cover to retract. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and would definitely buy again or recommend to others interested in a quality pergola.

It took us 2 people to put together which was expected. We also took the time to stain and add a thin coat of protector, which we would recommend doing to ensure it holds up better being outside year-round.

We live in our cabana… unfortunately so do my dogs 😂 We built ours in about 3 days … we’re not rushed and the interactive building instructions help so much. We added solar panel on top which makes the cabana a whole new experience…

We purchased one of the Verona Pergola Cabanas for our back porch to enclose a grilling and food prep area. We loved it so much that we bought another one last summer for the opposite side of the porch. With both sides of our patio flanked with the Verona Pergolas we now have a cozy oasis that provides us some privacy while letting in the breezes and light. This pergola went together quite easily and the product is high quality. Love it! Great option for backyard ambiance.

We purchased assembly as well. Well worth it in my opinion. I poured concrete footings and they assembled on top. Very sturdy. Looks great. Would purchase from Backyard Discovery again!

The Backyard Discovery Verona Cabana Pergola-Bamboo Panels is the perfect addition to our new patio. Our home sits on the corner of the entrance to our neighborhood with cars and pedestrians passing continuously. We wanted something to add privacy but add value to our property. The corner Verona Cabana Pergola-Bamboo Panels was the amazing solution. We added a new red brick paver patio and this wood pergola looks so expensive and we have received so many compliments from passersby! The contractor that did our patio agreed to put the pergola up for us. He put in a cement base for the post to make it permanent and he put it all together with the help of a partner in a few days. A Bamboo panel broke in half accidentally when we were putting it together and the customer service was amazing, we received a new replacement panel in a just a few days. Our contractor said the installation and instructions were well done. He is highly recommending Backyard Discovery to his future clients. We love our beautiful new backyard addition!

Very happy with the purchase. Bought 2 of these to fill the space we had and to provide privacy, a perfect fit. Spent the time to stain per directions to match our yard before assembly. Assembly was straight forward with good instructions. A few pieces came damaged. Customer service was great and shipped replacements out right away.

We purchased this Pergola to be the main focus of our new firepit area. It didn't disappoint. It is unique and well manufactured. We've received great compliments from friends, family and neighbors. I would highly recommend Backyard Discovery products for anyone looking to add an outside oasis to their yard.

I am very pleased with my new cabana and those friends who have visited are very complementary of my backyard. I also found an arbor to place near the cabana with a similar clock to support a vine. They look great together.

Amazing product. Easy to assemble

The pergola arrived early and in excellent condition. If you sort the parts, it makes it easier to assemble. It took my husband about 8 hours to put together. I would recommend 3 people to lift into place. If you drag the boards they will splinter and crack. But it was beautiful once complete. We use it often for work or relaxation. Everyone on our street noticed it immediately and complimented on how beautiful it was.

This cabana is perfect for the part of our backyard that gets no natural shade. Love the color of the wood, and it accommodates our outdoor sofa nicely. We added a curtain rod and Sunbrella curtains. It took my boyfriend 6 hours to assemble with minimal assistance from yours truly. I deducted one star for the delivery company; YRC Freight was a nightmare to deal with. They stood us up 2 days in a row and didn't even bother to call. It was very difficult to get in touch with someone from the local office. On the third day they arrived 3 hours late.

We bought those for some extra privacy on our deck. Everyone compliments how gorgeous it is.

It's exactly what I was looking for. The DIY kit has great instructions and the Built app is even better. My brother and I put this together in a matter of hours. All hardware and pilot holes lined up so no headaches or problems.

We bought the Haven Cabana Pergola last summer and we have enjoyed it tremendously. It is beautiful and brings just enough privacy to our yard. Our children love sitting under it when we eat outside and it provides just enough cover to get out of the sun a bit. We have used it to create new memories and enjoy time with our family and friends. Everyone is always commenting on how beautiful it is and how much character it adds to the yard! Even the birds have found it useful and built a small nest on one corner. This brings a ton of joy to the kids being able to experience the baby birds being born and growing! The assembly did take approximately six hours on our own, but it was well worth the time. We absolutely love this pergola and would suggest it to anyone who is on the fence about purchasing it!

I got this a few months ago for a backyard improvement. The project is about half finished but the pergola is the star of the project.

The Pergola works perfectly to create the corner privacy we needed around our hot tub from close by neighbors! It was the only one out of dozens we looked at that fit the bill! Looks even better installed than I had hoped. Customer service was great in sending me some additional parts I needed and even some touch up stain! If I had the space I would have bought a second one to put in storage for future use. I hope these continue to be made for a long time to come!

Easy setup and transformed our pool area. Neighbors thought this was custom made and we shared the information with them on this product!

We bought our cabana pergola last year, it was easy to put together, beautiful, and we absolutely love it!! Highly recommend it! All of our neighbors comment and ask about it, too! It goes great with our Backyard Discovery gazebo :)

We were excited to receive our pergola--delivery was wonderful! I sorted hardware into "steps", which made it easy to put together; when it was all up, it was better looking than in the pictures! Quality of hardware and wood is great; instructions are well-thought out. Would have rated 4 stars, but one flaw in the design: there are no plugs/coverings for the openings on the top where the rafters attach. Three holes in each rafter, with room for water to puddle. We have covered them with aluminum tape which we had in the workshop; will see how it lasts!

We absolutely LOVE our Haven Cabana Pergolas. The customer service was amazing. I called many times with questions before we purchased, as we bought 2 of them and put them together to cover 3 sides of our patio for privacy. Everyone I spoke with was so nice and helpful. Delivery was pretty quick which was awesome. All the holes were predrilled In the wood, and instructions very easy to follow. My husband and 84 year old father in law put both of them together in one day. We absolutely love the privacy we have now with our space.

We have really enjoyed the new Pergola. The home delivery was excellant, a slight delay but the communication was provided with good details and a new ETA. The delivery guys even placed the three boxes in my garage for me. I would of given this a 5 star rating but for two reason. One, the Wood scratches very easily and two, no touch up stain is provided. A small bottle would of been nice. The instructions for assembling was really good according to my contractor that put it together for me. It took two people four hours to assemble and three hours to stain. I ended up using Varathane clear semi-gloss oil based exterior urethane for the coating. Two quarts was perfect amount. Also, prior to the coating I touched up all the scratches with some minwax wood finishing gunstock 231 stain I had available to me. Worked great. I also added some Enbrighten 36134 24 ft. LED shatterproof outdoor lights to enhance the night life. It comes with a remote and has quite the color combination options.

Very good quality and easy to put together due to great instructions. Fits perfect around our hot tub, I just had to put some landscaping blocks under the posts to raise it up a few inches for clearance when I open the tub cover.

I looked at dozens of pergolas to fit my space and need to block the sun. This one is solid, well made, easy to assemble (5hrs, 3 people). The BILT app is a great companion to the paper instructions it helps you ensure you have the piece oriented correctly and put the right pieces in the right holes. After looking at pergolas from $500 to $15,000 this one is just right and I would recommend it.
