They stink
I’m sitting on two of these now and neither one works. Won’t ignite, if I get lucky and it does, flames out. Seriously how can you sell a product where its primary function doesn’t work??? Be better Bernzomatic. Awful. Avoid unless you like wasting your time

Does the job
Bought my torch two days ago to heat my branding iron for woodworking projects. The torch starts first time and does the job with minimal effort. I was a little uncomfortable with the tall tank so I built wooden box for it to sit in that I can clamp to the bench to keep it from tipping when in use.

It was working good for couple days but it stoped working only a week later the Match inside stop working and this was only used at home work so i image what happens on a job work but fyi it dose have a 3 year warranty but am not going to bother and going to return it to the store

Hello, and thank you for your review. The issue you are likely experiencing, based on your description, is that this torch is designed to be used at angles less than 45 degrees, as it does not have a pressure regulator to control the flow of fuel through the torch. When used at angles more than 45 degrees, fuel will pass thorough the torch and extinguish the flame, hence the ignition issue you are now seeing. Our TS3500 and our cast body torches (TS4000, BZ4500HS, and our TS8000) all have this pressure regulator in them. This model, and some of our other solid brass torch heads are designed for other use cases like plumbing or soldering that work best with the torch head upright. Affordable And Durable Torch
I was able to replace my water heater with this kit. Having zero prior experience, I desoldered a couple joints using the gas tank and used the included flux and solder to put about 6 copper pieces together. No leaks and I still have stuff left. I read it is hard to light the torch. I don't have experience with other products, but I was able to get it lit with a lighter after I adjusted the valve a few times. Usually lit within 10 seconds or less. It is a great little plumbing starter torch kit. Only thing I overlooked was needing a way to light it. you need your own matches, wand or striker. I ended up buying the separate striker torch end.

Did not work
As another review stated the starter didn't work. We were able to get it going with another lighter. During use the plastic piece on the valve caught fire, which thankfully was able to be extinguished quickly (you can see some melted plastic in the photo). Not sure if there was a leak in the valve or if this was some sort of manufacturing defect.

Very disappointed
I just bought this an hour ago, set it up according to the directions and it failed during the first use. It won't stay ignited and it takes up to ten clicks of the trigger to get a spark. Now I have to make another trip to the hardware store and get further behind in my project.

Terrible product igniter does not work. No instructions in English. Flame does stay lit unless throttle is fully open. Terrible, terrible product.

Torch sucks
After thinking I got a dud I went back and replaced the WK2301 torch. After 3 minutes of use the torch gave out. Turning the valve, gas comes out. Using a lighter there is a flame but it will not stay on. The problem is a very faulty torch. I will not be buying any worthless Bernzomatic products.

Useless out of the box
Like many others have pointed out, this thing worked the first try, and then wouldn’t ever ignite again no matter how many times you clicked it. Worthless piece of trash not sure how it ever hit the market
