Very nice torch head. It may take a few clicks of the starter to get it started but not a big deal. Also the adjustment knob should be a bit more responsive.

Needed a hotter temperature to loosen some bolts during a auto repair. This torch worked great.

Was going to buy their TS8000 but came across a good deal for this one. Let me tell you, for high heat this is a great torch. Many folks don't understand what they are buying and the specifics of that product. This is a tool and just like there are different sized wrenches and screwdrivers there are different "sizes" of torches to operate in several specific ranges. It only requires minimal effort to get what you need and not trash what you get.

I have say all the neg reviews seems to be people who dont know how to use a torch. i use this on a daily basis and it holds up very well. ive boughten high end torches and they stopped working and for the price you pay for this you cant beat it. it ignites every time without a problem and gives a very good amount of heat. i have soldered up to 1 1/2 pipe with propane. its great cause you can stand it up and solder small pieces and aim the flame where you want to.

I have purchased over 50 of these for my company. They are amazing and produce great heat and are efficient with gas usage.

torch is well built and should last for years. i bought this to do heating jobs and some soldering. it proved to be to munch heat for light work but i will keep it for heaver work.

Worked 3 times now will not light. After buying realized i had bought same product 5 years ago and had same problem! Poor design. Will be returning it asap

After only one use, the plastic casing has started to melt away from the tip, towards the igniter. In a couple more uses the igniter will likely be ruined. The tip seems to get way too hot, even at medium low flame it starts glowing. It would work better with either some heat fins or a longer tip. Other than that, the valve is working and the igniter is working.

The auto ignition is near impossible to get to light. Most torches light when the gas is barely on. Not this one. you have to turn it almost wide open and 7-8 tries it might light. easier to use a match. Once lit it works jkust great.
