Big John elongated open front toilet seat with lid, is exactly what was needed. Serves it's purpose perfectly. So glad I bought it.

Huge stabile seat, wide and quite tall. Very comfortable, even as a firm seat. Like it much more than I had expected. Definitely recommend for the larger bottomed people. Did not realize how much more comfortable the wider seat would be.

Did not have the correct installation hardware in the box. Had to return it to the store and buy something cheaper. That'll be the last time I buy something online from Home Depot.

Toilet seat cover cracked in just a few months and they won't replace it under a warranty. The cover is very flimsy even for a small weight person. The want to charge more money for shipping than it cost to buy the product.

It is quite large, most of the women in my family are on the petit side and we almost feel like we are about to fall in. But all of the men in the family are quite large and they have never been so comfortable on a toilet seat in their entire life. Seriously couldn’t be more satisfied with this purchase. I’ve bought other heavy duty toilet seats in the past, ones much more expensive, this one, especially with the open front, is the best heavy duty toilet seat out there for a big, wide, and tall man. Incredible!

Returned it just because it was way to large! My husband is newly handicapped but this was just to large as he is not a large man as far as weight

It was easy to mount and works much better than the round version.

The seat is definitely a bariatric seat. My husband has crippling back pain, so with the elevation of this seat really helps. The only thing I do not care for, is the seat cover is also big and wide so it covers the flush handle. You have to move the lid down a little to see the flush handle. With a bad back, that causes pain to turn, move the lid and flush, is difficult.

I like this toilet seat it raising the seating up higher. The only thing that is not okay is when my husband uses the toilet the seat doesn't stay up by itself but otherwise it is a good seat.

The Big John toilet seat fulfilled the reason I felt it was needed. It was not purchased due to size of user, but because a larger hole was needed. The user is on blood thinners, and cleansing with a regular sized toilet seat was a problem because it left severe bruising on hand & arm when cleaning. Big John eliminated that problem, but is not very comfortable to sit on.

Awful. While it may support a lot of weight the slanted design (eg toward center) compresses and not only counter to the function but also painful to those with leg pain. A total waste of money unless you need weight bearing. Singularly disappointed at hype with poor design. To be clear, if you have bad hips, sciatica, nerve damage, neuropathy or other leg issues. Do not buy unless a Dr makes you

Really liked the idea of the width and open front of this seat. Arrived with a crack, so was returned before installing. Seems to be enough positive reviews, so maybe mine was a fluke. Just not willing to try again to see about longevity.

Very well made and easy to install. Unfortunately, there just wasn’t enough room to maneuver in the tiny RV bathroom. The width of the seat was the problem.

Easy to install, doesn't get loose like the previous seat we had installed. My son likes it, my daughter says it's too high (she's 5'2"). I think it serves its purpose. I would buy it again.

Works great!

Installed easy. Large seat, regular toilet opening. Cushioned by long rubber padding on each side of the seat that fits the toilet bowl. I'm 300+ lbs and it does not wobble or tilt when I'm doing my paper business. I choose to get the open front because we installed a bidet at the same time. Big John is worth every penny.
