Yes, this automobile jack serves it's purpose especially with the foot level operation.

Purchased 5/4/2015 from HD. Jack was leaking hydraulic fluid out of the box. Tightened everything, added fluid. Jack handle and foot pedal fall off repeatedly. Foot pedal doesn't allow jack to slide under lower cars and foot pedal doesn't always work. Cannot remove foot pedal because retaining bolt is broken in place and would have to be drilled out. Jack handle finally broke completely off when pot metal parts broke apart trying to lift a 2009 Buick Enclave. Never lifted anything heavier than my wife's Enclave. This is the worst jack I have ever owned and the worst jack I have ever used.

Used once to swap tires on two cars, worked then. Fast forward to 6 months after buying and it won't jack s__t. Calling, emailing Torin and nothing. No apparent hydraulic leaks, purged air, nothing... the price was right if you need a 50 lb paper weight. Not worth buying at half the price.

This Jack has malfunctioned in the first 6 months of owning it. The one year “warranty” only covers parts and they do not assist you in replacing.

This Jack came with a simple and easy to follow instructions on preparing it to be used. And after several months of using it out in my shop on an old truck restoration project. It has worked perfectly.

I threw two jacks away to spend more money on this jack about 2 years ago. I took the foot lever off right away do to clearance issues with my lexus 350. The jack started leaking oil right away, I filled it a couple of times. The jack has never held the load for very long (less than an hour). I tried to jack up my truck 2 days ago and the jack lift moved about 1/4" with each stroke of the handle. I don't trust lifting anything with this jack, let alone crawling under a vehicle lifted by this jack. Why is it so hard to find a descent floor jack? Originally I liked the heavy duty frame, the quick foot lever seemed different, but in practice the hydraulics are what makes the good jack.

The piston not hold pressure .....maybe was defected.?..

The release is a bit sudden and sometimes difficult to disengage when weight is on the jack. Otherwise, lifting is effortless and I feel confident that it will take care of any truck I would ever plan on getting.

I left the car to check brakes but the Jack is not stable it slowly coming down

Works well, but did not include a lock bolt for the handle.

The unit was awesome, the transport and delivery not so much. Box came in torn and belly exposed. I’m assuming that since the warehouse personnel are aware that this is a solid unit and unbreakable , they tossed it around like it’s nothing. I understand their frustrations having to transport and’s deliver such a heavy object but I would also assume they would complain if this was their personal property being shipped, regards to the UPS guys.

The floor jack is of poor quality as it does not lift as it should. You need to raise the handle up high to raise the jack, should raise at all heights.

This is my second Torin Jack that failed after one use. Both Jacks have the same issue, they will start leaking after one use and won't lift. Won't buy any Torin Jack in future.

I used it about 4 times on a light passenger car and now it starts going down by itself when I lift my car even though I have it tightened real hard. Not safe at all. What a waste of money this was.

This jack works just fine

I have not had the chance to utilize it yet. This was a replacement of a Sears 2 ton jack over 20 years old that failed when I needed it. I got my money’s worth from that one.
