prostraw massive pain in the butt.
I am a certified Chrysler technician. 30 years plus. I go through a can of Blaster a week, or at least I did. I recently when into my parts department and received a can with a prostraw. I gave it a try and it was terrible. I can't get it in any tight spots without the straw closing and it is cumbersome. I asked for a can without it and non of the parts stores in town carried them. I am now using other products. I'm disappointed enough to write a review, and not use 50 + cans a year. Which can looks easier to use under the hood? I guarantee I'm not the only one.

      Game Changer
Replacing a sink I encountered a corroded P trap with a frozen slip nut. I tried WD-40, heat gun; every ounce of my weight on channel lock pliers- wouldn't budge. Saw this product & thought it would be worth a try. Following the directions and all of my unimpressive upper body strength, I was able to dislodge the slip nut! Then I realized the piece inserted into the line was also frozen. I used again: soaked the intersection of pipe & line. Waited & sprayed again, & applied the pliers & voila! Luv this product; recommend & will use again!

        PB Blaster nozzle tip broke
I'm satisfied with the product, but the spray cans are horrible. I finally finished my previous two cans of Blaster. Both cans lost pressure with about a third of the penetrate left. So, I punched a small hole in the cans and dribbled it were I needed it. I just bought an 18 oz can of Blaster. I was so excited to be able to spray rather than having to dribble the penetrate from a hole it the can. After only a few uses, the nozzle broke off. Since the can is still pressurized, I concerned about punching a hole in this can. I'm very disappointed.

Funny I received this review request the day I going used it, BP Blaster is a fantastic product, BUT, This can /straw combo was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent, when you spray it, it goes everywhere except out the straw, Poor design and the straw sprayer system, I will never by this design can again, Just give my the old style spray can type.

I really like this product a lot. I would of given it 5 stars. But because I’ve had an issue. With the product running out of pressure. About 1-2 oz were waisted and thrown in the trash. The same with the 2 cans prior. If it wasn’t for this product working the best over the rest. I go back to WD-40. Unfreezes locked up elec motors, pumps rusted nuts & bolts. Even locks.

Life Saver: Grandfather Clock Family Hierloom
Hurricane Sally devastated the Gulf Coast of Florida, specifically Pensacola, where I live. I am building a new office/studio and a week prior to the Hurricane, workers brought my 130" wide granite desktop through the dual front doors. They inadvertently left the left front door deadbolts (this door secures both doors with its vertical up & down slider pins) unlatched. At 5:30am Sally's 95mph winds blew both front doors open breaking a flower pot in my foyer and saturating my 96" tall 100th Anniversary Sleigh Furniture Company Grandfather clock with water. Battling the wind and rain my wife and I managed to slide the deadbolt pins into place and lock the doors. By that time the lower half of clock (with 5 different woods) had turned gray. With no time to spare so I went out to the garage and got my PB Blaster penetrate. I believed the clock was ruined - or at least severely damaged - so sprayed PB Blaster over all wooden areas. Given this penetrate displaces water and crawls its way into cervices, I figured it might displace some of the water absorbed into the wood. I am ecstatic when I watched the clock returning from gray "ashing" color to its natural deep reddish color within an hour. Thanks to the Pro-Straw I was able to lube areas adjacent to the clock's face without splashing it. Given this clock was a Christmas gift for my deceased wife in 1980, it has a very special meaning in my life. My friends think I am a genius...and I don't mind taking credit for my fast-thinking actions to use PB Blaster. I wish I had a photo before but no had time to spare. Look closely and yo can see the Blaster within the wood.

            GOT THAT BOLT!
Worked great after the other lubricants failed. Only took a few minutes and I was able to loosen that pesky bolt that was in place since 1986! Used outdoors, so no smell problems. Why didnt I know about this sooner!

Buy this if you have money to waste
Next time you host a large party and your guests aren't leaving, spray this around your house! The smell will drive them out!! And, that's about all this product is good for! Lousy product, DID NOT work as advertised! Tried it several times to loosen a plumbing nipple from an elbow (galvanized, both parts) and it would not budge! Had to call a plumber to get the job done. Product no good on horizontal connections! So, if you like to spend your money on stuff you don't need or doesn't work, THEN BUY THIS USELESS PRODUCT! all it did was leave a foul order that lasted for several days. I wholeheartedly DO NOT recommend this product, except to chase away your guests!

                B'laster Got Us To Safety!
Hello, my wife & I have an interstate hotshot transport business. During some very bad winter storms last month in Utah, my wife noticed a squealing sound from the front of our '97 F350 diesel pickup pulling our 32' freight trailer. We pulled into a rest area thinking a wheel bearing had gone bad & upon opening the hood, we found that our fan belt-tensioner pulley had locked up with our fan belt squealing across it. We were still 30 miles from any civilization in icey, bad weather & had to think quickly. I grabbed the pulley with vise grips, broke loose the pulley and sprayed B'laster into the bearing of the pulley while slowly turning it. Not only did PB B'laster get the pulley spinning again, but kept it working to get us into the next town for repairs. The mechanic was amazed that the pulley got us 30 miles into town & we owe our safe return to your product. Please let your people there know how thankful my wife & I are for the quality of B'laster. Sincerely, Gary & Tammy, Riverview, FL.

I have a motorcycle battery with a ridiculous design where an 8/32 bolt and nut held the battery cables to the terminals. The fasteners were both corroded with battery snot and rusted shut. I sprayed with blaster and it melted both away so I could remove and replace both. My plan B was to buy another battery cable ($19) and battery tender pigtails ($11), but for under 3 bucks for the trial size Bob was my uncle. Only downside is getting the smell of this stuff off your hands. Recommend you wear some latex gloves when using it.

This penetrant and lubrication worked like a charm, the hood release on my 1998 cherokee was getting hard to release, I sprayed Big Blaster penetrant in the cable and the lock latches and I got a smooth hatch release.

                      Mechanics Secret
A master mechanic friend of mine introduced me to PB Blaster years ago and said it was truly a mechanics secret. This stuff is the best penetrating oil I’ve ever found! I’ve been able to break seized nuts on exhaust systems that are over 30 years old loose with this before. The trick is to soak the part really well in PB Blaster first, let it soak in for a minute or two, then bang on it with a hammer a few times and let it sit for a bit. Rinse and repeat if necessary, but that stubborn nut will come loose eventually! I always have a can of this stuff around. It smells terrible, but it works great!!

                      Break free rusted bolts
Used it to break free some rusted bolts. Tough jobs may require several shots and a bit of time to perform its job. Requires a little patience.

Needed to remove a stuck shower valve. Sprayed this on and it did the trick. A noticeable odor in the product but after airing out the bathroom it was no detectable.
