[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this refrigerator. It is my first with the freezer on the bottom and I don't know why it took my so long to convert. That said, the refrigerator compartment is very well thought-out and it is easy to organize. There are ample spaces on both doors for larger items (gallon jugs of milk etc) as well as some adjustability of the internal shelves (not alot). The freezer's two drawers easily hold as much as my old side-by-side but it is so much easier to view everything in it. This model doesn't hold alot of ice in the dispenser but I was able to find a drawer to keep in the freezer so as long as I keep that full, it hasn't been a problem. The dispenser so far is great...although I must admit that I haven't figured out the "bottle fill" feature yet. Overall, though, we have been pleased with this product.

I expected a higher quality product. The doors just seem flimsy. The door almost does not seem like it seals correctly. I have had the refridgerater all of 5 hours and it still has not produced ice. I expected so much more with this refridgerator. Also, you can not fill a pitcher of water up. Very poor design. Sadly returning ASAP.

I picked the counter-depth version of this fridge as we have a slim space with a small island in front. It is also one of few appliances that isnt backordered by weeks/months.The fridge is roomy and has a lot of space, more than enough for what I need to stock. I love the water dispenser and ice feature, very useful for us. This is a smart fridge and I haven't connected it to wifi yet. I am able to open both doors fully, and the door on the left is very close to the wall. I have bought 2 small silicone corner protectors so I protect both my wall and the fridge door. So far, very happy with it.

I love the bottom freezer with an extra pull out shelf. It also features soft close so never have to worry if the freezer door is still open. I love the seemless integration of the water and ice maker. The back of fridge is stainless steel which is icing on a already frosted cake.

The wifi connected allows you to get alerts on if the door has been left open for too long. A nice safety feature to have, specially if you live with kids. I also like the soft close freezer door. Happy with my purchase.

We got the refregirator end of Nov 2020. In less than 4 months, all the door handles were broken. It is very cheaply made. I am very unhappy with the product. I thought Bosch has the best quality since all my family have been using Bosch for ages. But this refregirator is very cheaply made. I want Bosch to replace my refregirator because I am sure after they replace the dooor handles, they will break again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buying a new fridge during the pandemic made shopping fairly easy as there were only two options available to choose from. Probably would not have purchased the Bosch otherwise as it was more $ than we had budgeted. In addition, our salesman mistakenly told me that the fridge had dual compressors which I thought was a very nice feature. Turns out it doesn't, and the salesman apologized for mis-speaking. Generally we Like our Bosch, it is designed well and fairly quiet. At times it was a bit noisy, but I think that was the ice maker early on and it hasn't been that loud since. Only have had it for a couple months, but so far we are pleased. It's also very nice looking and matches well with our other appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this fridge. Water dispenser is the best we ever had. Dispenses well and sleek design. Interior is spacious for a counter depth fridge. Lightning gives it a very sleek design. The only issue I have is that it won't fit flushed in my kitchen, due to the fact that how the door comes out when open, it would hit my cabinet handles next to it. The kitchen was designed with our previous Bosch fridge with which all worked just fine. Luckily the grey side color of the fridge matches our cabinets perfectly.

I don't usually write reviews but this had to be done. We recently moved into a new home and needed a refrigerator. I knew I wanted to stay away from the usual suspects but had a hard time making a decision because they all seemed the same with useless gimmicks. My wife was checking out the Bosch model in the store and was very impressed with build and quality. When I asked about the brand, the sales associate said he hasn't heard one complaint from customers who purchased a Bosch refrigerator. It's been a few weeks since we had it and we're very satisfied with this purchase as it checks all the boxes and would recommend others to purchase.

When they advertise a fast Ice Maker they are not kidding and it is the quietest refrigerator I have ever owned. The way this Bosch 500 series refrigerator is built is impeccable, it is pure quality. I just down loaded the Bosch Home Connect app for this refrigerator and it is awesome it alerts you if the refrigerator door is left open, lets you adjust the lights, the temp and more. My favorite part of the app is that I can shut the Ice Maker off when the grand kids come over. My wife loves how it has a light in the freezer. The back inside wall is stainless steel and looks awesome. I could go on and on about how much we like this Bosch refrigerator. Feel free to ask any questions you have. I have never owned a Bosh appliance before, now I will only look at Bosch.

The Bosch 500 series refrigerator is very sleek. It is counter depth, saving me a few inches in front of the refrigerator. That does come at the cost of shelf depth inside, but there is still plenty of room. The shelves are 12” deep from the rear wall to the edge of the white. The doors have shelves as well, so you can shift them around to get a few inches of overhang if needed. On the depth topic, the freezer drawer is 13” front to back and fully extends. My old one did not and it really is helpful to have full access. The top freezer drawer is 7” deep and the bottom drawer is about 9 1/2” deep. I have attached pictures. The glass shelves can be moved around and do not need to align all the way across. The refrigerator is well lit. Between the light and the shelves, everything is in clear view. If you tend to spill things, note that the shelves do not have catch ridges all the way around them. Drips and spills will not be contained to the shelf. Set up was simple. All shelves and drawers fit easily and we quickly had them set up for our personal needs. We ran the requisite gallon of water through the filter to break it in and the water went from cloudy to clear. We did have some dribbling of water out of the water spout while we were running that first gallon through. Once we were done, so was the dribbling. It seems like the lines needed to purge the initial air and then all was good. One of the main reasons we looked at a new refrigerator was the lack of ice production in our old one. This refrigerator’s ice maker bin isn’t any bigger, but Bosch includes a bin for ice in the top frozen food bin. That allows you to stockpile ice for future use. And when you don’t need it, it is more space for frozen food. The ice maker filled its bin over the first night. The controls are easy to use. Temperature controls, modes, alarm, light and filter status are inside the doors at the top of the refrigerator. My wife is 5’ 2” and she can see them and operate them without issue. The ice and water controls are straight forward. They include a lock, a light, water, cubed or crushed ice options, and a bottle fill. Whichever one you have selected gets a light below it. Very easy to tell what you have selected. The bottle fill feature is pretty neat. If you select it and then press the water dispenser lever, it will automatically dispense the amount of water you’ve set it up to dispense. By default it is set at approximately 17oz. You can set it up for any amount up to 60 seconds of continuous dispensing. The last few thing I will note are that it runs quietly. The exterior has been pretty resistant to fingerprints. It has a lot of customization options for shelf layout, temperatures, bin humidity, lighting, etc. The filter is in the upper right hand corner. While it is easy to reach, I prefer a filter that is right up front so that I don’t have to move anything to get to it or to clean up the water drips. It is a 90 degree turn to unlock it, so simple to replace. If you want to remotely monitor your refrigerator they have an app that you can put on your favorite device. It lets you monitor the fridge; will send you notifications if you leave the door open (though you’ll likely hear the alarm if you are in the house); and allows you to remotely change cooling settings. It is a very nice looking and well functioning refrigerator.

The Bosch 500 series stainless steel refrigerator is simply a beautiful upgrade to our kitchen! If you are looking for a stylish refrigerator that will catch the eye of those that enter your home, then this is a must purchase. Some of the amazing features of the 21.6 CU. FT. french door refrigerator is that it can produce up to 12 pounds of ice per day (my wife is a huge fan of the crushed ice feature), has LED lighting throughout (brightness can be adjusted from 0 to 5), the outside is super easy to clean, there is a hands-free button to fill a water bottle (can be set to dispense a specific amount of water), there is an AirFresh filter that helps absorb the strongest food odors, and the Multi Air Flow helps to circulate the air to maintain a constant temperature throughout the entire cavity of the refrigerator. My wife and I really like that the operating controls are located on the top of the refrigerator and are hidden by the doors. The controls are very assessible and the various controls can be set with just the touch of a button. Something totally new to us is that the refrigerator can be controlled remotely through the Home Connect app. The app has notified us when the ice hopper is full and when one of the doors has mistakenly been left open. There are also many other options that you control from the app, with our favorite being that you can control the temperature of the refrigerator and/or freezer. While this refrigerator may quite possibly be one of the best on the market, the only concern we have noticed is that once the ice maker is full, some of the ice begins to melt into the dispenser. Not a major concern at this point, but something that we will need to monitor. Overall, we are extremely happy with this Bosch Refrigerator and we look forward to many years of enjoying this stylish addition to our home.

The Bosch 500 series 36 in. 21.6 cu. ft. French Door refrigerator in stainless steel is a sleek appliance, with an in-door water dispenser and bottom freezer. Lay out: It is thoughtfully designed to maximize usable space, so that no square footage is wasted. At counter-depth, it is wide and shallow, allowing you to easily see and access everything. The two produce drawers are quite large, and with their boxy shape, can accommodate bulkier items like celery. The cold storage drawer is a bonus I have not had before, but it would be more versatile if it were about a half an inch deeper. The glass shelves are half the width of the fridge, and are height adjustable, so you can tailor the layout to your needs. Door storage is sturdy, and large enough to hold a gallon of milk (or two). This contributes to the easy access of the shelf items, by effectively splitting the depth of the fridge. Potentially, this could make it harder to pile and cram things into the fridge. Though this was the approach with our previous fridge (see pic… no judgements, please) it should not be necessary here, because the back half of the fridge will not be full of unseen and forgotten leftovers from times gone by. I have found that drink cans slide around more than I like in the door, with the large size of the door “buckets,” and the low height of their sides (which I assume is so that tall items can be removed without too much vertical lift). Perhaps this would not be an issue if there were more cans packing them in, or if the doors were opened and closed less aggressively. Lighting: Instead of a traditional bulb (that takes up space and heats up), this fridge is equipped with LED strips that reach every corner of the fridge and can be adjusted to five brightness settings. When the freezer drawer is open a light shines down from the bottom of the fridge door, illuminating the baskets contents. Ice maker: Located in the upper left part of the fridge, you get the benefit of ice on demand, without losing that ever valuable freezer real-estate. Water filter: The filter is located in the top corner of the fridge so that it is easy to access and change, when needed. Water tastes good too, much better than tap. Water dispenser: The bottle-fill feature is great, so that you don’t have to awkwardly hold a large bottle and press the lever for a long time. For a regular sized glass, however, the water comes quite forcefully, and splashes out of the glass. This is mostly solved by holding the glass up and close to the source. Freezer: The large bins and split drawers once again serve to maximize space and facilitate organization. Love it. Imperfections: The left door does not stay all the way open the way the right side does, and swings shut a bit. Perhaps there is an adjustment or a leveling issue I have overlooked, or perhaps it just from the weight of the water dispenser. By contrast, the right door needs an extra push to close so that the bar/seal pops into place. This is less of a con, and more of a user adjustment. It will beep after a moment to alert you, and if you enable it, the fridge can apparently text you to let you know the door is open. Bonuses: The front of the stainless steel holds magnets, and so far, shows minimal finger prints (good for toddler)! The fridge is by no means silent, but it is much, much quieter than most. Overall, I am very happy with the function, design, and aesthetic of this Bosch fridge!

A REALLY well-designed, REALLY well-made refrigerator; no cameras, no touch screens, no gimmicks. I'm pretty sick of seeing refrigerators trying to keep up with smartphones. I don't need a live feed of what my eggs look like, a screen that tells me good morning, or a refrigerator that can pour me water from 2 blocks away, I need a refrigerator that does what it's supposed to and does it really well without issue. This is it. I love the French door-style fridges with the freezer on the bottom. My wife and I are tall so this design is actually WAY BETTER. No more bending over to get in the fridge, just open and reach in. Amazing. It just makes more sense. I also love the counter-depth length. I live in a small home, so I needed something that didn't take up a lot of horizontal real-estate. This was perfect. I can't find anything I don't like about this refrigerator. It's amazingly designed, the interior shelves are easy enough to move with one hand. They even maximized their space by adding little shelves around the ice maker port. It's just really, really well thought out. After doing a lot of research on this refrigerator, discovering the ideas and design that went into it, I was sold. Instead of Bosch putting a webcam in their refrigerators or touch screens that show your butter, they designed a bomb-proof refrigerator. Groceries last longer because there's better temperature and humidity control. There's a humidifier in the refrigerator portion and a de-humidifier in the freezer portion so things last longer. You don't even need to defrost this to move it. It maintains a constant temperature with regulated air flow, it keeps your groceries cold while overall making them last longer. You need ice? It can make 12 pounds of ice in a day, you can even have crushed ice. The ice-maker was designed to last longer, which if you know about refrigerators, is the most common thing to break. You want a filtered-water dispenser? It's got it and a bottle-fill feature that you can use a preset amount of water to dispense. It's even got a open-door chime that sounds if you forget to close it. Don't want touch screens? It's got a beautiful hide-away temperature screen built into the top frame of the refrigerator. It's even got a child lock-out feature. Don't waste your money on the gimmicky stuff, get yourself a Bosch and you won't regret it. This will outperform, outlast, and pay for itself in the long run, it won't need repairs and it will keep your expensive groceries lasting longer.

Warranty run out after being fixed twice still won’t work properly. Contacted Bosch said I needed to get to the repair people again. No bosch needs to fix their refrigerator design.

Super quiet I love my new dishwasher!!

I can even see what is in the vegetable bins. The arrangement of the shelves is perfect for our needs without changing anything. The door bins are huge! The bottom freezer is plenty big for us. The in the door water and ice is very nice and there was a bonus feature...a bottle fill button. Yep, this is the perfect refrigerator for us!

Ice maker doesn't work and it's just over a year old. Already past the warranty. First started making awful noise when making ice. Now won't even make ice.Terrible considering how much this fridge cost. Never buying Bosch again.

Not happy with this refrigerator we have the Repair Man come three times to fix the icemaker. The error light keeps going on. We need to keep pulling the plug to reset it I've had many refrigerators in my lifetime. This is the worst one ever. I'm very disappointed in Bosch.

Not totally thrilled with this fridge, considering the price...deli drawer doesn't open easily and doesn't close completely....there is a half inch gap when closed....Crisper bins do not open smoothly...they sort of stick when trying to open them...

The first 7 days months it runs great but u will begin to hear a buzz sound every 40sec coming from the back of the refrigerator. Then u will hear a constant loud clicking noise every 30-40min that is coming from the ice maker which last 1-2mins of clicking. There’s no fix since reviews online say Bosch can come replace the ice maker but u will always have the same issue a few months later. It’s not worth the price to deal with the constant issues even if u bought the warranty. I hope this helps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were constrained to get an exactly the same size as our old fridge. This BOSCH 500 series fit the bill and is a definite upgrade over our old fridge. After two months it is great.

Do not buy this refrigerator. I spent over $3000 27 days ago & the seals on the doors are defective. Home Depot tech service came to my house and verified the problem. They told me Bosch would replace the frig. One hour later I was told via email that Bosch wouldn’t replace but would fix it. I have called Bosch & they gave 2 verified Bosch repairmen. No reply from one and the other one said they were quitting doing service calls for Bosch because Bosch would not pay them. I’m furious!

Was very happy with the unit at first, then about 8 months later the ice became small and a little wet like. Now 9 months in the ice maker failed completely. Very cold in ice drawer but no water. I did all the trouble shooting steps to no avail. Fridge and freezer work great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All other brands should take notes on this design. You don't need a TV screen on your refrigerator door it's ridiculous. But what you do need is fingerprint resistant, sleek slender design, quietly efficient, intelligent software beautiful to look at, all around excellent doorhandles, professionally styled, ice and water dispenser is completely flat with the door. I looked at every refrigerator at this price point and Bosch is the one of my choice and in my opinion the best decision for design and technology. European modern architecture beautifully crafted and super quiet.

We love the refrigerator. It looks and performs exactly as advertised. I would highly recommend this item to anyone shopping for a fridge.
