[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of things I like about this refrigerator. It's about the best you can find in a free-standing fridge, before stepping up to a built-in fridge that will cost 2-3x more. As a side note, I wish there were options between free-standing and built-in fridge price points. The interior design reminds me a lot of built-in refrigerator. Everything is easy to see and get to -- Bosch avoids using curvy or bulbous shapes, and instead uses clean flat surfaces throughout. There is a lot of transparent acryllic plastic and glass used, making everything easy to see. Most other fridges use a lot more white plastic, which hides contents and blocks light. The construction & most hardware is a step up, especially compared to Whirlpool and GE brands. The two crisper drawers use full extension, ball-bearing slides, rather than nylon wheels; this allows the drawers to open smoothly and fully. The freezer drawer is soft-closing and will draw itself closed, much like high-end Blum hardware on kitchen cabinets. I have the black stainless version, and the look is stunning. Many friends have commented on how nice the fridge looks. The finish is unusally bold, with a noticeable grain to the steel. It seems much more durable than other black stainless finishes. The color looks great with my cherry cabinets. I really love the clean look of the front of the fridge, without the distracting door dispenser and associated displays, lights and buttons. The minimalism aesthetic is well executed, and makes the fridge look premium. You never see built-in fridges with in-door ice/water dispensers, it cheapens the look. Again, I'm glad Bosch decided to emulate a built-in design. The last bit of built-in design that Bosch borrowed is the height. At 72 inches tall, it's only about 2-3 inches taller than most other fridges, but that extra few inches makes the fridge seem a lot more spacious, and from the outside it looks more substantial. The cripser drawers and the included ethylene filter (part of the "Farm Fresh" system) do seem to keep produce noticeably fresher for longer. I like that the two drawers can be set indivdually for temperature. The deli drawer is not adjustable, but I found it keeps the environment at a suitable temperature and humidity for meats and cheeses. The only real design miss is in the French door hinges. As many other reviews have stated, the right door does not close easily on its own, because it needs a extra little push for the mullion flap to flip to the closed position. I'm really surprised that Bosch messed this up, considering they have powered door closer motors on their high end Thermador line, so clearly they know how to over-design a door hinge. This flaw is the reason I knocked one star off my review. I hope Bosch will address this in an update to this product. My previous fridge had an in-door ice and water dispenser, and although I miss the conveniece, the truth is that the interior ice and water dispenser is far superior. The ice machine can make and hold a fantastic amount of ice, and it does so very quickly. I've found it can completely fill the ice drawer in about 48 hours. That wasn't the case with my previous fridge -- with its compact space saver icemaker in the door, it barely could keep up with a family of two. It's a minor detail, but even the included ice scoop is well-designed. The pyramid-shaped ice produced by the ice maker is aesthetically more pleasing than the crescent-shape produced by most other manufacturer's designs. This fridge is unbelievably quiet - I have yet to hear the compressors or fans running under any conditions. Actually, I haven't heard anything at all from this fridge, with the exception of a fresh batch of ice dropping into the bin. Bosch did an amazing job with controlling noise. Despite the lack of noise, this fridge does very well keeping the contents cold, and I've not noticed any fluctuations in temperature. The dual compressor design (this is the only free-standing fridge with dual compressors) is likely to thank for its strong yet quiet performance. I really hope this refrigerator holds up. The initial design impresses, but hopefully Bosch was equally thoughful in the design & robustness of the sealed system and other mechanical parts. The included warranty is just OK (1 year full warranty, 5 year parts-only warranty), and the extended warranty, which really just extends the labor warranty, is quite expensive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Bosch refrigerator, based on my experience so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chic Bosch fridge is a dream--the black stainless is a true black metal, not a film, and it is so finger-print resistant that it barely needs wiping down. We love the inside-the-fridge water dispenser because it doesn't take away from the sleek facade. The freezer has three roomy sections and the ice maker keeps the tray filled perfectly. (Waiting for my old dishwasher to conk out so we can replace it with the companion black stainless model.) A perfect option for our total reno!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our refrigerator for one month and so far it is working well and looks nice. We love the space and versatility of the shelving. We bought the counter depth so it wouldn't stick out, but when they installed it we realized it has to stick out a few inches past the counter depth to be able to open the refrigerator doors. If we'd known that we would've bought a full size model. One issue of note is that we've struggled with the electrical hookup. We had new electrical lines installed with our remodel and our electrician told us we had to have our outlet set on GFCI but it trips instantly so we've been having to use an extension cord to a non GFCI outlet on the other side of the kitchen. Bosch told us the refrigerator has to be hooked up to a dedicated non-GFCI line so we are going to have to have the electrician come back and redo the electrical for it. We've been told this is a common issue with newer refrigerator models.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best refrigerator we have owned (3rd refrigerator for us) and we purchased as part of a kitchen remodel along with all other Bosch and Thermador appliances. The depth and width of the fridge make everything very easy to get to and easy to clean. The freezer has a third high-level shelf for extra storage. Highly recommended.

Love the ice maker

This new fridge is sleeker/sturdier in outside design, far better design inside - more roomy, better lit (LED lights are great!) and keeps food fresher longer. Water dispensing is more efficient, ice maker is also more efficient. Overall, it's a more intelligent better made product! Thanks so much to the Bosch team!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried about getting the counter depth fridge but the way use of space is very efficient. I also did not want a water/ice dispenser in the door. This has an internal water dispenser and the ice maker is in the freezer. They take up little to no extra space. Love it. Doors hold gallon milk jugs and since it is not as deep, I have a better view of what's in the fridge. The drawer is great for sandwich meats and snacks for the kids. Freezer seemed a little small but wasn't an issue for us since we have an spare freezer. Even so, space was pretty good. Temperature control is amazing. Everything is perfectly cold! Also let's me know on my phone if the kids didn't close the door all the way. Glad we purchased this!

The produce drawers keep herbs, fruits and vegetables way longer than any other refrigerator we have had, which is one of the most important things in a fridge. The lighting is amazing and really showcases the entire fridge. Freezer has more than ample storage, once you get used to organizing everything properly. Only negative we have experienced is the water dispenser inside the fridge is plastic where you push to get the water to dispense and it has cracked after only using it for 4 months.

We got the black stainless steel as I didn't want to change out our other appliances. It has such clean lines and the inside it designed so much better than other French Door models! The side doors provide good storage and have shelves that things don't fall out of when you open the door. The inside is clean and bright and very easy to see what you have inside. I also love the bottom freezer. Plenty of room with the pullout drawers and love love the ice it makes! She shopped around quite a bit until we found this model. You have made us a believer out of Bosch appliances!!

The door swings so the outside edge of the door goes past front of the refrigerator cabinet when it is fully open. So the door may hit the edge of the countertop unless you add an extra filler piece along the side of the refrigerator. The spec sheet doesn't have a good picture of this issue. Probably need a 2" filler to avoid interference. Another solution would be to pull the refrigerator out farther maybe 25.75" instead of 25". This is what i had to do since my kitchen designer missed this issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best features of this fridge, in my opinion, are the freshness control of the drawers and the high quality of the drawer slides. My hubby has complained about drawer slides (and their failure or breakage) in every fridge we’ve ever owned until we got this one. The freezer is a drawer-type bottom-freezer, where the main slides are self-closing once within a few inches of closed, and within the main compartment are two shorter drawers at the top. The middle one has ice on the left half and about 4” tall storage on the right. The freshness control of the drawers works because the drawers are basically sealed when they’re closed, and within each drawer you select a setting based on the contents (e.g., meats, veggies, fruits) and then the temperature and humidity are optimized for your selected setting. Other nice features include the flex bar - which allows you to store shorter items, including a single bottle (white wine, anyone?) on taller shelves. Fridge shelves are individually adjustable left and right, and the shelf standards feel solid and easy to adjust. The icemaker seems to work well, and I like the shape and size (pyramidal and about 1” wide) of the cubes. The water dispenser is inside the fridge on the left inside wall, so there is no splashing of water or ice on the front of the fridge as with in-door dispensers (which are also less efficient). This fridge also requires less clearance than most comparable counter-depth fridges - typically 1” is required on top and sides, and this fridge only requires ½” on each side, which allows a more custom, built-in look if surrounded by side panels or cabinets. The unit is middle-of-the-pack as far as energy efficiency. The interior lights are bright, with two LEDs at the front top and two LED bars on the front sides that shine backward. I avoid putting tall items right next to the side lights so that illumination of the upper back of the fridge isn’t blocked. When I got this fridge, it replaced a side-by-side of similar dimensions, and the main thing that’s tough to get used to is the big difference in how items are stored in a bottom-drawer freezer as opposed to the side-by-side. The freezer capacity is good, but because their is a single deep drawer (at the bottom) and two shallower drawers above (one of which shares the drawer with the ice compartment), it takes more careful planning than a tall freezer with shelves. However, I decided that this compromise is worth it for the increased capacity of the fridge part and the full-width fridge drawer and shelves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Bosch 800 Series Refrigerator after receiving a store credit. I previously owned an another refrigerator but the ice maker in the door had many problems. A store credit was given to me because I had the Home Depot Protection Plan which extended the warranty to five years and many repair attempts were done with no resolution. In essence I had a lemon. The protection plan covered this because after several years I started having issues with my in-door ice maker with water leaking on the floor, no ice in the bin, etc. So far, I love the refrigerator. The Bosch brand is a high-quality appliance. The ice maker is in the freezer, and the water dispenser is inside and does not take up the space of the door. The refrigerator is easy to organize and you can actually reach into it and it’s not too deep with the counter depth. It looks very nice in the kitchen and along with my Bosch dishwasher, I am very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this Refrigerator. The flexible layout allows lots and lots room for items. You can also see excatly whats in there, no moving things to see in th back. My family especailly loves the ice scooper accessory. My freinds have other Manufactures similar to this unit and ours is by far, the nicest. Connecting to Wifi was a little tricky, but figured it out. Instructions could be a little clearer. The freezer space works much better than I thought...with 3 drawers there is plenty of room for normal items...although a large turkey would take up the whole lower drawer. The finsh is very nice and does not leave fingerprints. Overall I'm so glad I purchased this unit.

We also wanted an easily accessible ice maker and water fountain. This refrigerator checks all our important boxes. The app that lets you know if the door was left open which we appreciate a lot also. I called Bosch to ask a few questions and their customer service is excellent. We are very pleased

It’s only been a few days since receiving our Bosch refrigerator so I can only speak for the aesthetics of it so far. It’s a beautiful refrigerator and compliments our kitchen well. It’s very quiet. I washed all the compartments and cleaned the fridge thoroughly prior to using. The shelves were easy to remove and replace. Additional shelves were included in the box so that’s convenient for endless storage possibilities. The only thing I’ve noticed that I don’t like so far is the indoor water dispenser. I don’t foresee us using it very often since it drips water after you use it. I wouldn’t mention it if it were not significant but there’s quite a bit of water that drips down. Plus due to it’s awkward placement, large water bottles or pitchers require a bit of finesse to fill. I knew this prior to buying so I was willing to sacrifice an inconvenient water dispenser over the overall sleekness of the refrigerator without the outdoor ice and water dispenser. The freezer compartment is not super large so a big family might find some difficulty storing large quantities. We’re a family of three so it works for us. The ice maker is good and works well so far. In due time, I should be able to properly review the functionality and durability of this fridge. This review is solely based on the aesthetics and the function after 72 hours. Also the stainless steel is not finger stain resistant so be ready to wipe, wipe, wipe! A soft damp cloth works great.

While installing the upper glass shelves, 2 of the bracket end pieces broke, so I have 2 wobbly shelves. After sitting on hold with Bosch for 30 minutes, the associate was unable to identify the piece that is broken. Absolute joke for such an expensive refrigerator.

The design is sleek and goes well with our kitchen cabinets which are also a sleek, straight line type design. The counter size fit perfectly into our space. The capacity and function is great. Has a nice holder for eggs, butter, even bottles. The freezer has 3 drawers with the top drawer being thinner than the two below it. The small ice-balls/cubes are great. I didn't want a refrigerator with the bulky ice machine on the inside and this one fits the bill perfectly. Remember, counter refrigerators have a bit smaller capacity than non-counter, so this is something to keep in mind.

There wasn't much to choose from due to COVID that fit our kitchen. I picked this one and couldn't be happier especially never having owned a Bosch product. The salesman recommended it and we love it. My favorite feature is the ice maker. The cubes are small and round and fit into the water bottles/jugs easily that we take everywhere/send to school. Also, it's counter depth so was a little worried about losing space but it has plenty. The black stainless does not leave fingerprints so rarely needs to be wiped down and the matte finish is beautiful! It fit like a glove, the ice has a cool shape and the freezer door glides shut on its own while the light fades. Overall great fridge
