[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super thrilled and eagerly waiting for the delivery of the SHE3AR75UC. I relied on Consumer Reports reviews and decided to go with this. One thing for sure - this is a quiet model! We were let down a lot - there are several cons - We loaded the washer as recommended - with scraping of food particles and not pre-rinsing; but doesn't completely clean the dishes. It is really hard to load this dishwasher as well, the tines are too close to each other. There should have been more flexible or foldable tines. The silverware basket is also huge and takes up precious space, (I guess can be a plus), but not flexible or split-able. We ended up using a silver ware basket from the previous dishwasher. The dishwasher is also about 2" less deep than other manufacturers. This makes for constrained loading and cramped interior. We have to run the washer several times a day to make up now. Also, the top rack seems to be too low, even on the highest setting. This takes up precious hieght from the bottom rack. CONS Beware-depth is only 22-9/16"; cramped interior Hard to load pots and pans Loaded as suggested, doesn't clean well No indication of washing status The silverware basket is a bit too big Tines are too close to each other and not enough foldable Tines. PROS Estimated Time remaining is great to have! Quiet for sure!

Plenty of space for lots of dishes so I run it much less than my previous washer. My dishes come out perfectly clean and sparkling. I give it a 5 out of 5!

The picture doesn't quite do justice to the top rack's efficiency, but it shows the bottom well. Pros: -Cleans dishes *very* well. I've never had to put anything back through. -Interior is very well laid out - The pegs are close together to fit more dishes -The timer on the front is really nice to know how much longer the cycle has to run -Easy to use front panel -Not silent, but very quiet Cons: (mostly nitpicky things) -Our medium sized bowls don't fit well anywhere. YMMV -Silverware rack is less efficient than I'd like... The middle of it gets shorter for no clear reason and doesn't work well without the little dividers. -Doesn't completely dry dishes. (We don't like using rinse aid.) However, if you open the door while everything is still hot things do dry out quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Bosch Dsihwasher a couple months now and it works great. My dishes are always clean and free of residue. I love the fingerprint resistant finish - I don't have to be constantly wiping it down. It was fairly eay to install. Just wanted to note that the description was a bit unclear whether or not this unit could be hardwired - It cannot be. You have to buy a separate $20 cord/outlet to be installed under your sink. It was easy enough to install though.

I was initially concerned without having a heat cycle that my dishes, once they sit a bit, are dry as a bone. I only wish I would've bought a Bosch in 2016 when I renovated my kitchen. Ok

The buttons are along the top (not the front) so when you first glance at it, it doesn't really look like a dishwasher.

We chose this unit after much research and great reviews and recommendations. As we say in the jungle, safari so good (LOL). We just installed this unit (installation was DIY user friendly) and have used it a few times. Pleased with the quality of cleaning and low noise (had to make sure it was running), and it is attractive (we got the model with no handle and controls on the front (the red on the front is just reflection from our red floor mats).

Initially I was distressed that they did not have a heating element that dried my dishes. I learned the way to make them dry well and replaced the 2 at my beach home with the same model. Very happy with all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher for about one month. So the best thing and the worst thing about this dishwasher is how quiet it is! What I mean is that when I first started using this dishwasher, I loaded it and started it and was very impressed with how quiet it was...only there is a time limit on starting this particular model (meaning that after pushing "start" you must close it immediately) so it wasn't actually washing. After making this mistake a couple of times and thinking I had gotten another garbage dishwasher by a different manufacturer, I then learned the secret. Now I can successfully start my dishwasher and it is still soooo quiet! The dishes get beautifully clean and I am completely happy with this purchase. I would highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone who is looking for a very quiet dishwasher.

I purchased this dishwasher after our Maytag of 24 years died suddenly. This one held promise. It was highly reviewed and Bosch had a great reputation among dishwasher manufacturers. I was hopeful. The dishwasher is quiet – but that’s probably because it doesn’t clean. At first dishes came out with a little residue, but I thought it might be the soap. We changed detergents several times and followed the manufacturer’s recommended cleaning instructions. The dishes never really got as clean as the Maytag it replaced. After 2 years of use, the dishes stopped getting clean at all! After reaching out to Bosch, they sent a technician who told me that my now 3-year underused dishwasher (there are only 2 in this household) would cost more to repair than to replace! It needs a new pump -- a $99 part which Bosch said they would pay for -- but since it's out of warranty I was responsible for the labor. My bill would still be $425. The same dishwasher (which I would NEVER buy again) is available for sale locally NEW from a major appliance retailer for $450! Incredible. Why is there a world in which a BOSCH dishwasher doesn’t last 3 years? I’m going to have to trash this dishwasher (a total waste) and move on to something that actually works. I guarantee you, it won’t be a Bosch. Buyer beware.

We purchased this dishwasher online after reading a review in Consumer Reports Online where it received an incredibly good rating. In fact, it was a "recommended" dishwasher. After getting it installed by Home Depot, we have used it for about one week. We noticed immediately that the way the splines in the dish racks were arranged made it difficult to load the washer. They were either too close together or positioned in a way that did not utilize the available space. Bosch could learn a lesson from Kenmore when it comes to dish rack design. Also, the door has a strong spring in it and if you are not careful it will slam when you are closing it. If the door does slip out of your hand and slams shut, it slams hard enough to jar the bowls out of their places in the bottom rack. It also could break dishes or smash your fingers if you happen to hold the door in the wrong way. When you pull the bottom rack out to load dishes, the wheels usually fall into the gap between the edge of the box and the rails on the open door. Or it also falls off the rails while it is being pulled out. Bosch added some plastic detachable holders on the upper dish rack that provides a way to secure long stemmed goblets for washing. We rarely drink out of a long-stemmed goblet and had to remove the extra holders to gain more space for other dishes. The dishwasher is, however, quiet and has ample easy to follow controls on front including a delay timer that can be set for up to 24 hours. Overall, I would not recommend this dishwasher due to the poor design of the dish racks which is in my opinion is the most important aspect of an automatic dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my Bosch for almost 2 months now and really like it. It’s very quiet and does a great job in cleaning my dishes. It’s easy to use as well. I use Cascade Platinum which works great but have also used Finish products. Also I use the recommended rinse aid. I’ve had many other dishwashers over the years and this one is the best I’ve ever had. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because I find it difficult to load. It is different than other washers I’ve had but I’m getting better at it as time passes. Also I could do without the beeping at the end of the cycle. There should be a simple way to turn it off without having to override the system so I live with it. But overall I love it and would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loooove it!!! Super quiet and the express wash is my favorite. if you have a load of lightly soiled dishes, they are done in 30 minutes. Still getting used to the rack designs..different thaen I am used to with previous diswashers. The adjustable top rack is also amazing. Depending on your needs it allows for an extra tall item on the top or bottom rack as needed.

First of all, Home Depot's installation crew were great! My 45 year old dishwasher was stuck behind some floor tiles, but somehow the crew managed to get it out without scratching the tiles, so bravo to them! I've only used my new dishwasher 3 times, but it is much quieter than my old one. It cleans well enough for my purposes. The energy saving 30 minute "Express Wash" cycle seems to be fine for cleaning my dishes, silverware, and plastic cutting boards after a day's cooking. I have to believe that the 2 hr plus "Automatic Wash" cycle is really for a family of 4+ who accumulate dirty dishes for 2 days before washing. Fair enough. The drying is a new-to-me system called "condensation drying" which heats the dishes with hot air or steam to evaporate the water off them, and the vapor condenses on the steel tub. I think this is pretty slick, although as the manual says, the dishwasher-safe plastic containers stay wet. My other dishes are dried, so this system does work. I was also dreading my new dishwasher not having a hard food grinder, but the mesh filters are easy to remove and clean, and aesthetically nice looking. One thing I don't like about this dishwasher is that the inside never gets dry after a cycle, even after days of no activity. There seems to be a lack of venting to the inside while it's off. Apparently this is an appliance that is designed to be run every day or every other day. A sealed, moist, warm environment strikes me as conducive to bacterial growth. It's not smelly or stained yet, but after each cycle I am propping the door open with a plastic container to dry out the tub. Another thing I'm worried about is some of the countersunk screws in door aren't screwed in straight. This is leaving depressions in the door seal that I'm worried will cause leaks as the appliance ages. It's not leaking right now, and these may be of no consequence, but still strikes me as sloppy. Yet another thing I don't like is the default power settings. I'm glad that I read through the questions and reviews, so I changed the automatic power off from "never" to "1 minute after the cycle ends" I would also have liked the controls to remember my last cycle choice which is going to be "Express", as opposed to defaulting to "Automatic" all the time.

The machine itself is an excellent buy. Home Depot offered to me at a great price. Ran the first cycle last night and all appears in order. As others have reported, the machine is very quiet. Things to remember when considering this machine: Electrical power source - Most dishwashers use a hardwire setup. This machine came with a 3 prong plug to a 120 ac wall outlet. The other option is you buy the optional junction box which allows your hardwires to connect the the Bosch plug. The problem I ran into is the junction box was hard to find. Everything on the self install was pretty straight forward. You may have to drill or enlarge the hole(s) between the under sink area and where the machine resides.

It is quiet and does a good job cleaning and sanitizing my eating and cooking ware. The installation was not too difficult. I found it too difficult to get the installation done, because the default is to hardwire the electrical and do a new installation on the plumbing, and I couldn't figure out how to modify the instillation options. I would have preferred to have it installed, but I was not willing to pay $170 for instillation procedures I did not need.

This dishwasher absolutely cleans the dishes. It is super quiet. The cycle choices are great. BUT...anything taller than a dinner plate will not fit. Even a spatula in the silverware holder is too tall to allow the washer arm to spin. Large cutting boards or sheet pans? Forget it, you have to wash these by hand. There is no indicator on the outside to let you know where the washer is currently in the cycle. You have to open the door to find that out, and then remember to hit the restart button to make it continue.

It is quiet, dishes are clean, optimizing cleaning time, and the racks spaces for dishes are organized two ways. I may add the shiny polish chrome is my favorite!
