The propane/gas generator that I bought last week was a life saver. Our state went through the largest power outage in in state history and preformed better then I ever expected.

Shipping brackets were missing top bolts to engine and we're obviously contorted, suggesting it was bounced around quite a bit during shipping, waited on hold with Champion for 30 minutes before giving up. Not happy

I use this generator as backup in case of power outage. It was easy to set up, easy to use, handy to move around and simple to store.

This generator is awesome. It was easy to set up, the instructions were very explicit and easy to follow. We used the propane option. Run time was great, it wasn't too noisy.

I bought this as we're seeing more uncertainty in out power grid systems across the country, and although I've only lost power once in the three years I've been in this house, once was enough. I chose this because of it's dual fuel capability as I do want to try propane as from what I've read it could be easier to maintain. Upon opening the box I was impressed as it looks ready to go and adding the wheels and handle was easier than finding out how to leave a review.

Was rated at 68db but how far away. My cellphone sound app read 80 +db @ 4 ft away, 75db @ 10 ft away. Made a plywood box with rockwool sns on four sides, 70db @ 4ft away, 65db @ 10ft away. Only run on propane, easy to start if you open the choke while starting. May have something to do with CA compliance. The vibration absorption system works great as without wheels generator stays in place on cement with a slight angle for water runoff in a screened area. Have only run a 12 inch house vent fan mounted in box for cooling and air supply to generator.

Easy setup, easy maintenance, easy on the pocket book, and enough wattage to run basic home needs when the power goes out. The dual fuel option is a game changer!

The set up took a while but it was totally worth it. This was my first time getting a generator. The start up was pretty easy. Everything worked out. I would 100% recommend this to a friend. That needs a generator.

After the Texas snowmagedon this winter, we decided to get that generator we've been meaning to for years. I researched generators up, down and sideways. Champion always came out as a great choice no matter where I looked. For the money, no one else has a generator to match it for quality, features and pure power. Oh, did I mention that its rated tops for clean, consistent power? We look forward to many years of use out of this generator.

Since this is a new purchase, I don't have a lot of use with it, but with the testing I"ve done so far has been impressive. I really like the electric start, the duel fuel option is also great. For unboxing and getting it assembled was very easy, instructions were good.

Works good. Researched many gens for our camper before buying this one. Not disappointed . Has a RV ready plug runs the entire camper A/c and all with no issues. Electric or pull start . Runs on Pump gas or LP. Good deal for the price. Shipping was quick. Had one little part broke during shipping. Emailed them and the send a replacement part next day.

Purchased to replace an older unit. We chose duel fuel as this is being used at the house during power outages as well as for our travel trailer. All in all I like the performance. The noise level is a bit higher than advertised but tolerable. I have not tried it yet with the trailers 15K AC running.

Just received primarily for home back up (via transfer switch) and possible other outdoor projects and RV use. Came well packed, easy to follow instructions for minor assembly (wheels and handle); starting and running and breaking. Started right up with both electric start and recoil. Ran well on both gas and propane. Just as represented.

Just recently we got hit with a pretty major snow storm in a place where it barely snows a few centimeters every 10 years. Power went out and the snow piled up passing 7 inches. It's hard to heat a house or really a living room with no power. I bought this for the next storm to come. After testing it out on propane I was a little upset at how much noise it generated but then again for the price I knew it was going to be on the louder side. I would say about as loud as a lawnmower maybe a little more when right next to it. After closing the garage door and leaving it running it was not an overbearing level of noise. We chose 3800 watts to run a few portable heaters and a hot plate or skillet really to run just enough to make it through a tough situation comfortably. Big bonus, it has big wheels and is easy to move around with one hand. I specifically chose this generator due to the dual fuel option for gasoline or propane. As well as it having an electric start for ease of use while also having an included rip pull start up just in case. Tested both and they worked the 1st time. Overall a great purchase with a fantastic price.

Had product delivered to store rather than home delivery. Was not able to set up after picking up right away because of illness. But was very surprised when I finally was unable to unpack and set up. Wheels and handle assembly was accomplished with ease. Product comes with oil and funnel. I purchased this model mostly because of the dual fuel feature, will be running on propane, less issues than using gasoline. Have not actually run unit yet, waiting for weather to warm up a bit. From reading over the quick start instructions, operation of unit should be a breeze.

Just received this generator. Started right up with the electric start. Looks well built. I will run it through some tests this weekend but thus far, I am impressed with the quality of this unit...

Looked for a generator to replace my Honda for home and camping. Wow the price for a new Honda was unbelievable. Started looking at other brands and came across champion power tools This generator makes less noise than the old Honda wow it also is duel fuel and electric start no more busted pull rope thanks champion power

I purchased because it seemed like a great deal. It was dual fuel, 68db , cost effective for the power. However. The loudness is extremely louder than advertised. It runs at 98-100 db right next to the muffler and 80 at 23 feet. It is loud and everyone in your neighborhood will know you are running a Generatror. Everyone! The good things about it is that it comes with oil and its easy to start with the battery. It is heavy and the wheels are a must, but once using the wheels its easy to move.

Some design flaws but overall great unit. Runs quietly, starts easily and seems reliable. The placement of the oil fill spout is ridiculous and the grab bar to pull it with is pretty much unusable. But otherwise I love it. Duel fuel is awesome!

This generator is very well built, solid and heavier than I expected. It will be no problem to toss it in the truck and take it out to the lake or camping. It was super easy to unbox and assemble and took 15 minutes from opening the box to ready to fire up. Make sure you read the instructions as you need to flip it. It even came with a funnel and break-in oil, very nice touch. Once I had it all ready to go I just added some fuel and started it up. The battery was fully charged as well so I didn't even need to pull start. The first time took 2-3 crank attempts and then it ran like a top. I ran it for a couple hours with minimal load and slowly added more drain. The only minor drawback is it run pretty loud, I thought I read 68 db somewhere but that must be inside the neighbors house down the street. It does exactly what it says and I'm more than satisfied with my purchase. The generator literally runs like a Champion!

I bought this generator a few months ago for emergencies and so far its been a pretty good unit through the break-in period. ( figures that as soon as I put this thing under my desk, there aren't anymore power outages to try it out on ) One gripe I have is with the 2nd stage of the LP regulator kit (the part that is onboard the generator). Champion, would it have killed you to include a better second stage and NOT epoxy the set screw? If you set it wrong at the factory, it means a user has to REPLACE the part, resulting in unnecessary downtime, rather than adjust the set screw. Also, If I ever want to use this thing with natural gas, I'll need to buy another second stage that is NOT glued down. You guys wasted an opportunity to reduce returns, improve repairability, and add additional fuel flexibility to this unit. That said, it runs as expected - relatively easy to start as long as you remember to engage the choke on start up and are quick the turn the choke off before the engine dies. After that, you are good to go. Where I live, gasoline is impossible to come by during times of emergency, so I will likely never run it on gasoline. This works for me out because gasoline leaves worse carbon deposits in the engine than propane, and eventually gums up the carburetor where propane will not. Not to mention storing a generator under my desk with gasoline in it would be a bad idea. Since there isn't a good fuel consumption chart for this unit, I did some fuel efficiency testing during the break-in period and made a chart with those results which I will attach to this review in case it might be helpful to others.

Bought this generator not too long ago and have run it a short while just breaking it in with gas before going to propane. Well spring is close and I wanted to run it a while more to break it in some more and the battery was dead. I looked and looked for one that was the right size to fit in the battery box. Finally I called the service center at Champion Power Equipment, They registered the generator and was told a new replacement battery would be shipped tomorrow. That is service! Not to mention saving me lots of time and $$ . I use to have some reservations about the company because I didn't know much about them. Well I am sold on the service, quality and the innovation to make the dual fuel generators.

This is a great generator, from its 3 year warranty to its ability to run on either gasoline or propane! It was easy to assemble and started immediately once the oil was in and it was fueled up. My wife loves the battery start option because sometimes our old generator was a pain to start with the pull rope. It is more quiet than our previous Coleman Powermate PM54-2000 generator, which is an added plus. It is exactly what we needed to be prepared for power outages.

Remove from shipping container assembled wheels added oil , pushed start button . Used with small window AC an two table lamps . Fairly quite Gen Set. Stayed comfortable all night.
