I installed this item on a remodel of our master bedroom. We had not installed the new sheet rock to it was easy for me to drill into the basement and run a new power cable into a double pole 20 amp breaker, which made the installation very quick on my end. I did set the heater up on two blocks to bring it up higher off the floor, almost a foot and a half. Wiring was simple, and the design will allow you to replace the heater if it goes out with minimal effort (no cutting of drywall). No sharp edges and very sturdy housing. It is very quiet, and when I turned it on for testing, it heats quickly. I imagine with the drywall around it, the noise it generates will be barely noticeable. Make sure you use a 220/240 thermostat for this product.

Overall I'm pretty happy with this product. It was easy to install, looks nice, didn't have the "burn in" period my last register needed which spit black soot out for the first few minutes. This heater is quiet, clean, slightly larger than my last heater but this one seems to kick out the heat pretty quick. Also has a very fast "on" response meaning once the thermostat clicks on, these heaters are already spinning at full speed! I also like the new can design and heater design over my old ones, these seem safer and more efficient.

You need to pursue the ability to purchase replacement heating elements only without having to buy the whole mounting box and cover. It is a waste resources and money to require people to purchase things they don’t need to buy what the repair requires.

Price point warrants a little more refinement. The unit works great but is a tad noisier than I would have hoped. The register style grill needs some updating in the way of the folded metal corners that face up in the installation should be welded together. Instead, its two tabs of metal that meet and form a gap that tends to flare a little bit when you tighten the screws down that hold it in place. The grill should also slide into place as opposed to the two phillips head screws holding it in. It looks awkward when the switch plates and outlet covers are all screwless Decora. Overall, great little unit. Just may not be for you if you've got an exacting eye for detail.

Works great and is a nice remodel option for existing sheetrock. Easy directions how to change hardwiring for changing heat output.

We installed this in our wall, and when we turned it on it barely puts out any heat. Our hair dryer puts out more heat on low than this fan-forced Electric Heater. Very unsatisfied!

I bought three of these to replace the electric baseboard heaters in my livingroom and dinning room. So far they are doing a great job of heating and they also open up the rooms. I definitely recommend them.
