The bottle opener design isn't that good - it takes a bit of fiddling around to open a bottle. And when that finally happens, there's only a 50/50 chance that the cap will fall into its designated container. Nice idea, poor execution. I also expected better craftsmanship considering the price.

I installed this on my outdoor kitchen and it is very convenient and works great!

Solid and well made opener that will built to last

Love this thing. So glad we got it for our outdoor kitchen. Before we had to keep up with a loose bottle opener and usually after a few "sodas" you can't find the opener and are using the whatever you can find to open your liquid refreshment. Usually the grill's countertop. Well no more scarred up countertop for this guy. Best thing is, stainless steel construction. So no rust, no fuss. I saw one of the other reviews mention a bad design, but if you look at the image of the item online you can plainly see that the lip is on the bottom mount so when you pop that top it falls into the catch bin. Either way, I am not picking up oodles of bottle caps the day after a gathering.

Most wall mount bottle openers work by using the top of the opener to remove the lid. This one does not. Of course, you don't find this out until you get it. There is no lip at the top. You are left to try and open it using the bottom tongue of the opener, which is not how this type of opener works. As a result, you have to pop the cap against the tongue of the opener about four or five times before it finally comes off and then it flies to the side and lands on the floor. Horrible design. Does not work.
