This BBQ island and grill is absolutely amazing. It certainly is a beast and is definitely all 825lbs it describes. The prep area is spectacular and the grill heats up quick. I recommend grill mats to help keep the grates and burners clean, as the stainless steel grill and parts are pretty difficult to keep clean. The lights are a great added value and tons of storage underneath the grill if using natural gas. The conversion kit was very underwhelming, in regards to the hose and regulator but the values were needed and easy to install. I have had this grill for over a month and all in all....and after a few minor tweaks, I am super happy with this product. Delivery had some initial issues but Home Depot took care of me and made it right. Excellent customer service!!!

This is an update to my initial review from two years ago. Just wanted to let people know that the grill works and looks as good as it did when I first christened it in 2017. I have included recent photos of the grill showing that the grill and island have held up very well in the summer heat and winter rains of San Francisco Bay Area. Great product. Great purchase. I am very pleased with this product. Just keep in mind the size and weight of the shipped product. You will need assistance when moving the island and grill.

The grill and enclosure are excellent very well built! heavy stainless steel, well crafted and sturdy enclosure. 10 out of 110 for quality and appearance. The only issue that stops it getting 5 stars is the packaging, it was damaged in shipping because it is wrapped in cardboard with a cheap wood frame. See pictures, I am waiting for a response from customer service.

I will qualify this review with the fact that I have only had the grill and island for several weeks. Nevertheless, both the grill and island appear very well built and I expect to enjoy many years of grilling on this outdoor kitchen. I did replace the v-grates that come with the grill with a set of standard size (19.25") GrillGrates. I am extremely happy so far. I have used the rotisserie to roast a chicken and have grilled fish, steak, vegetables and burgers. The results have been great. The grill does heat up quickly and cooks food faster than you might expect, but this is not unique to this grill The grill and island look great. The color of the tile is different from what is shown in the picture on the website, but is still very appealing. I have attached a photo of my grill and island. I did convert the grill from propane to natural gas. It's a straight-forward task. It would be nice if the conversion were a configured option. The refrigerator is not large, but is very convenient. It's nice having ready access to chilled drinks. I do highly recommend this grill and the island. One word of caution - the package is heavy and is delivered in one enormous crate! The island alone is 650 pounds. Have help lined up to move this to your backyard. I rented a pallet jack and needed several guys to assist with the lift and move. Good luck with your purchase decision. Equivalent custom built units would have cost me over $6,500. Big savings.

I love this grill. I’ve had it for a few months and can’t be happier. I haven’t done anything fancy with it yet, just the typical steak, chicken, burgers, but I plan on using the rotisserie in the upcoming months. The electric hookup was easy and as soon as my 20lb propane tank runs out, I’ll connect it to the house propane tank. I had to hire a moving company to get it to the lanai at the back of the house for $120, but it was worth it. I plan on many years of grilling with this unit. Love the refrigerator. I don’t have to go far for a cold one.

The product is great. As advertised. The service, however from Home Depot was terrible! One delay after another, then a curbside delivery that left me with a half ton box to move! Horrible service, but that seems to be Home Depot's modus operandi...under the excuse of "Covid 19"!!

I bought the Cal Flame Grill and don’t believe when they say it’s a lifetime guarantee as it’s a lie. They will not replace what they say they say they stand by. There are many other terrific BBQ options out there. DON’T BUY CAL FLAME. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The Cal Flame BBQ island and kitchen came on time and in perfect shape. Delivered to my garage and with a couple guys were able to easily move it on two furniture dollies to my back yard where it went. The grill is fantastic and works just as advertised. Price was excellent could not be happier.

Love my new grill and all the options that comes with. I cook on it almost every day. Wish I could get a cover that fits the entire grill.

Good quality for the price. Easy to assemble. Wish the BBQ did not stick up from the patio floor one inch. You can see the subfloor plus mice can get into the unit between that space. Should be flush to the patio floor which would eliminate the problem

Great product, the only problem that I found was the magnet on s/s door is not strong enough to hold door closed. It needs a more powerful bigger magnet.

Very good grille, a big step up from my Webber. It is bigger that it looks, you can fit 2 large trays on the island top with plenty of extra room. It is heavy duty and should last many years, the LED lights are really bright and using the grille is fun. I cooked a full breakfast on the grill with the griddle, first time ever cooking eggs on a grille. I've already purchased more accessories. The refrigerator is big too, it has a freezer section and a light inside. It is heavy, I hired two movers for $200 to bring it from the street to my patio, they set it up and removed the crates, I should have shipped it to the movers directly, they claimed they get many objects like this for setup. The shipping carton was a double long pallet, about 4 ft wide and 6ft tall. It does require electrical connections, it does not "just" plug in. I converted mine to NG, with the extra NG conversion kit sold by Cal Flame (Home Depot has them), which took a plumber a few hours to do - but necessary for proper compliance. It is a true outdoor kitchen, with all the extra work involved, I would do it again, I'll never go back to a small grille!

has given me nothing but trouble. Home depot will send you to Cal flame for repairs, Cal Flame does not have anyone to repair so you are totally left by yourself.

Works great Looks great Lights are awesome Easy set up except it’s very heavy.Had delivery problems and delays but they worked hard to get it right.

The grill works, but tender meat will take some TLC. (-1-) The heating plates above the burners block the flame from the food. You lose the visual indicator of heat and have no char control. It distributes heat well, you just don't get to play with fire (we all have needs). (-2-) The cooking grate pattern is my least favorite. With most grills, big bars in one direction offer some resistance, but not much. 10 triangles going against your spatula will turn tender patties (well marbled or wagyu) into taco meat. Either get a new grate or spray pam on the patties first and get it as hot as you can to start (propane hot, not natural gas) and you'll be fine with this grill.

We haven’t installed and used the grill yet but I must say it looks perfect for what we need! The quality seems durable and I’m looking forward to using it

Posting a review one year after purchase. This grill is absolute garbage. The grates are not built correctly to distribute heat and make it easy to cook on. The design is atrocious. In spite of having five burners it has difficulty getting beyond 400 degrees after one year. Even the cover has already badly faded. I've had a ceramic grill for four years that works like a champ, cover looks great and makes this thing look like amateur hour. Don't waste your money on this like I did.
