I have always wanted a pellet grill so when i found one for sale I couldnt resist. Thankyou for making me look like a pro. Everything I cook turns out perfectly. Ive had friends who dont eat much meat ask for 2nds. sockeye salmon smoked with maple syrup....wow! Than I smoked a leg of Lamb....

Got this for Christmas and it is amazing. So easy to use. I have cooked ribs, chicken legs, pork chops, & the best burger I have ever cooked. It can do it all. Ready to step it up and do a brisket. I have no doubt that it will turn out wonderful.

Just got my SmokePro XT in and have used it 3 times already. Friday i smoked the most DELICIOUS and Tender Tri Tip. Installation was easy.. Great smoked taste with ease!

I purchased this smoker a couple of weeks ago. I have used it four times already. It is does an excellent job. I made two racks of baby back ribs today. They were fall off the bone tender with a nice smoke ring. I have been using a Camp Chef 24" Smoke Vault for the past few years. It is a good smoker but it was hard to keep the temperature just right and had a tendency to over smoke the food. This Smokepro produces the perfect amount of smoke. You set the temperature and let it go. I love the built-in temperature probe. It makes everything so easy. I ordered a bronze shelf for the right side of the smoker. It works great.

Do not get can’t keep temp for smoking temp gauge reads low keep getting flame out

I bought this smoker about a year ago. It works good for smoking ribs and smaller appetizers at higher temps. Anything below 240 and it will flameout after a couple hours which is inconvenient as I bought this smoker to use for longer cooks. I was hoping to be able to set it up over night and have the meat done the next day. Countless times I have been disappointed when I walk out in the morning to a “flame out” display. I’ve tried 225 and it does the same thing. I’ve tried many different brands of pellets, I’ve tried it all. Still does the same thing. Overall not a terrible smoker just not what I was looking for I guess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I scored mine used from a fellow's widow who just wanted rid of it. I've had it 4 years now and I don't hardly use my Weber gas anymore. I've done numerous turkeys, chickens, steaks, pork cuts, my all time favorite briskets, even fish. Only had a couple occasions of being disappointed. I use it couple days a week and every weekend

Instructions are not clear on start up. Too many steps to go through.

great pellet grill but the other model with the direct heat mode and pellet dispenser is the same price and if I had to choose would go with that one

Can’t control the temp. Can’t control the smoke. Controls don’t function as manual says

Save yourself a headache and buy a different brand. The software is trash and the smoker shuts off on its own and then you have to wait 20 minutes for the shutdown cycle even if the heat isnt on. Returning it and getting a higher end brand.

The smoker immediately blew a fuse when trying to start up. Camp Chef's support took 3+ days for any type of response and after 2 plus weeks of trying to get the issue diagnosed and replacement part sent, I decided to return the smoker to Home Depot.

Excellent smoker, missing a few features I'd like to have but not a deal breaker.

I bought this smoker almost 3 years ago and we love it! The clean out cup is so handy compared to the competitors method. The direct flame for burgers and steaks makes it very versatile. We cook everything in it, from pies to pizza's, ribs, roasts, chicken, you name it, we've cooked it in here. Even made a cake once. We rarely use the indoor oven at all! We just had a major hiccup on it, though, so, I contacted customer support by e-mail and explained the problem. They figured it out and sent the parts I needed within a week. Parts were easy to replace and it was running perfectly right away. No hassle, no problem, best customer service I've ever had! We plan to keep this one a long time, but we'll replace it with another Camp Chef!

Wish it had more smoke

This is my first pellet grill and the food coming off this grill is so much better than a gas grill. I bought this most basic of the Camp Chef grills and really wish I would have upgraded for some of the added features - it would have been worth it.

This grill is wonderful. I love the way it cooks and the control over the temperature. Not perfect the it runs out of pellets while pellets are still in hopper.

As one other reviewer mentioned...there's very little smoke flavor. I suspect this is largely due to the fan running (loud, and what seems to be on high) continuously. Most quality pellet smokers have a variable fan

This is the first pellet grill I’ve ever purchased and it has exceeded my expectations. Every meal we have tried has been 10/10. Pork butt, chicken breast, burgers and wings so far. It is super easy to use and keeps temps within ~5 degrees of where you want it. Couldnt be happier. Super easy to assemble, too

Cooks well. Good little grill. Consider the wifi version for convenience

Assembly instructions were pretty clear. Fired it up and have used it about 10 times in the last month. Seems well built. Controls are reasonable to understand. I like the dual temperature probes.

It works great and I love it

After hearing about and tasting the difference between food cooked on a propane grill vs pellet grill I made the switch & Camp Chef was the clear choice of pellet grills after I did my research. Having cooked several different types of meats on the Camp Chef it hasn't disappointed and the cleanup is much easier than I expected. Great grill/smoker!
