My new generator had only 2 outlets for 120 volts. With this adapter it has 4! The adapter appears to be well-made with good heavy-gauge wire.

Check your generator before purchasing. The connection is L14-30 120/240 volts 30 amp. Will not fit a RV plug which is on many generators and is 50 amps.

The product worked as advertised. My generator has GFCI outlets for 120v and even though this is safer than standard outlets, GFCIs don't always work well with refrigerators which is important to me because I don't want to lose all my food in a hurricane induced power outage which is an issue here in Louisiana. I plugged this adapter into the 240v socket and plugged the refrigerator into one of the cords coming off of it and it worked fine. Some refrigerators pop GFCI outlets which is a problem but fortunately, this item is a good workaround for that when using a generator. Highly recommended.

Does what it is designed to do.

I havent used it yet, but if the build of it is any sign, im sure itll be great. I will update if there are any issues.
