The Cedar Wood Grilling Plank was a little high in the price. We really soaked the plank in water for a few hours. Even though we had the grill on medium heat, the plank started to burn on the edges a little we had a bottle of water on hand to spray the plank. The end result the salmon was delicious with the smoked flavor of the Cedar wood grilling plank. Even though the plank is burned is some areas. It can be used again so looking forward to another smoked salmon.

Used for BBQing salmon on the grill. Needed 2 because I had a large salmon fillet from Costco. Cooked over indirect heat on a natural gas BBQ. Took longer than my old direct heat method, but it was worth it. Retained marinade flavor better and stayed juicy even when fully cooked. And, they really can be washed, dried, and re-used !

Not sure if we used it correctly, because it cracked after using. We soaked as directions called for - but had to throw it out after one use.

We soaked them and yet they completed caught fire.

Decent plank but a bit expensive.

These planks accepted water enough to only char on the bottom and not burn. The flavor of the salmon was excellent. The only problem I have with them is that they are too small. A 3 lb. salmon filet has to be cut in half and put on two boards, and even then, the sides of the filets are out over the edges. Please make a larger plank!!

Outrageously overpriced. $5.95 for one plank??? I needed it so I had no choice.

Average product, single to dual use even after 3 hour soak. Cost is high based on use life

Planks are too thin. Very expensive too.

Soaked in water as recommended both planks split and broke in half, too thin.

Worked well, made our fish taste great. Just follow the directions on the package.

Others have 3 planks for 5 bucks only one plank I was bummef

Board was too thin and flamed after several minutes on the grill even when salmon filet was placed on it I am looking for another source for my grilling boards

These cedar plank doesn't smell like cedar at all and they are very light. They looked like they were made of compressed wood.

You get what you pay for. Cheap, but board was flimsy. Didnt produce a lot of flavor. There are better options out there
