My AC went out over the Memorial Day weekend as many others did. I couldn't get a repairman for a week. This fan saved my life. I couldn't have made it in the 90 degree weather without it. It has 3 settings & 1 was enough for me. Easy to put the stand on. The only negative is that the fan is loud, but it's worth it!

I bought this fan yesterday and loved it so much bought another one today. on Medium it gets cold. Yes makes noise but that is only way I can sleep. Would recommend to anyone, the only issue I have is the cord is a little short so unless you use an extension cord can't move very far.

I bought this high velocity fan a week ago at HomeDepot and I would say this is a super fan. It has 3 power levels. Low, Mid, and high. The lowest power of this fan is stronger than the highest power of my stand fan. I highly recommend it!

This fan moves air! Unfortunately, it is loud, but that is my only complaint. I have purchased several fans over the last 3 years, but honestly none of them have moved the air around my apartment like this fan! I purchased 2 of them and I feel they are the best investment I have ever made in regards to fans, price, and overall quality...

I had the previous model of this fan (generic, marketed as HDX brand) and it wasn't very nice at all. It was extremely loud and didn't move the amount of air I expected it to with the amount of noise it made. This new model however is just great. It moves a ton more air and is a bit quieter (not quiet by any means, it's an industrial fan, but quieter). The stand is a bit deeper which makes it much more stable on the floor then the last one and I haven't had it fall over once. I like how the stand is easily removable too, makes it easy to jam in a window if needed. A great purchase, would highly recommend.

Keeps my shop cool and air circulating all the time I'm working. With high power it does the job that I wanted it to do. It paid for its self the first day I seed it.

W@W~! People are right, this thing BLOWS. It's loud, sure, but why is it loud? WHY do ya buy a fan anyways? Low is like extra high, high is like a TURBO. I actually got 2 of these to stack in one of my sliding windows. I have an open concept with cathedral ceiling and I can still feel a stiff breeze 40 feet away even though the ceiling fan on high is trying to divert it. Anyways, a lot of cubic feet and the sun beating on the roof all day can put a serious drain of the central air. I mean the roof soaks up all that heat all day and radiates it into the house hours after it's been dark..... a real problem, but this thing does the trick. Anyways, ya, it is kind of loud when you're trying to entertain. My solution was a light DIMMER switch. I got one that works by remote and does a fantastic job! That's what impressing me most. Even when the fan blades are barely moving, it still throws off a decent amount of air. That tells me the blades are designed well and efficient. IT also tells me that when it's on high, it's not just loud, it's moving serious volumes of air. Bottom Line: If ya want a quiet fan, get a cheap plastic model or buy a good dimmer switch with this. I got mine on Amazon. It's a Carlon RC6000. Get this set-up, it's well worth the price and will pay for itself in a couple month of Central Air price reductions. If you do like me, I just put it on before I go to bed and it's dramatically cooler in the morning. Then just close up the house and hope it doesn't get hot enough to make the air kick in before I can evict it in the evening.

Out of the box I added the two anti-tipping feet and in minutes this fan was evicting hot stagnant air. This fan is a real bargain when I consider that it does what the more expensive fans ( Patton, Hunter etc.) have done for me in the past. I hope it's as durable then it simply can't be beat!

This is a powerhouse fan, not a want to be fan, with real results, in a very cool way. A must buy. You will love it and then, buy another. Then you will wonder, why didn't I do this sooner, rather than, melting away in the heat like butter on a turkey, in a blazing hot oven. Enjoy.

The fan itself isnt all that bad. I gave a poor review for the manufacturer lying. This fan doesnt move nothing close to 3000 CFM much less 6000 on high. I find it almost funny.

Love the fan shen is working but its nit even a year old and it stopped working out of nowhere and summer is coming up too i cant be spending $60 everytime it stops working smh

This is heavy duty, no rattling, good design. When they say high velocity they mean it.

Noise level is loud but it seems to be working fine.

Purchased at The Home Depot store 0245 Carrollwood, FL two weeks ago. Fan has same speed on all three settings. There is no Low Medium or High. It's all High. I bought this fan to replace the one I had purchased 16 years ago. That one also had speed issues but at least it had two speeds.

The fan didn’t last had a hard time trying to find a fuse that goes in the cord unbelievable won’t be buying any time soon

I bought for my wife’s work. She works in cafeteria in a school and she and her team love it because it gives so much air moving.

Mounted fan to old pedistall mounting to get it off the floor. Runs perfect.
