Works better for me than the fluorescent did, easier to use counter space under cabinet than before

I have five of these lights installed under my kitchen cabinets. I have now replaced three of them, a fourth is starting to fail, and one of the REPLACEMENT lights is already starting to fail. The manufacturer claims "45,000 hours" of operation before failure. The real number is around 4,000 hours OR LESS. It's a shame, because when they're working, the lights provide excellent lighting: not too bright, not too dim, not too blue, etc. But the manufacturer must be using the CHEAPEST possible components in these lights' construction. I have attempted to perform a "post mortem" on a couple of the dead lights (I'm an electrical engineer), and there have been no obvious signs of failure. I think the COB LEDs themselves are the culprit. Whatever the problem is, this much is certain: Home Depot and its supplier are guilty of gross false advertising when they claim that these lights will last "45,000 hours." That is an out-and-out LIE.

Very bright and easy setup

18 months and one quit. Second set to make replacements. Already used 2!! Thought LED would last longer than the halogens I replaced!! Guess not.

Batteries needed to be replaced every few days. 3 batteries per light. I would replace these lights but I attached them to my curio cabinet with the sticky tape provided and don’t want to ruin the cabinet.

Calls for a 2-15/16” hole. Considering that is a special order drill bit, that is pretty idiotic. 2-3/4” or 3” bits are standard, so that was just the manufacture being difficult.

Low-profile and dimmable with the right amount of warm light made these puck lights the perfect solution for our under cabinet lighting needs. They highlight our new kitchen. We frequently leave just these lights on and nothing else. Very happy with the final result.

bought 2 sets of these early last year thinking alright 50000 hours of light. Need to start replacing them after a little more then a year as they are going out already. do not recommend

Originally purchased and had installed in 2016. They have 5 year warranty, but did not last that long. Purchased the same set again and had them replaced. Working great at this time.

As of now, they work great. I have only had them a couple months. Light is bright. I use these to add light to a bookshelf. I hope the bulbs stand the test of time.

Easy up, super bright, with batteries.

I noticed in some of the reviews that the customers were disappointed with how bright the lights were, even though they were labeled "Soft White". The soft white is at about 3000K. What they need to look for is the warm light around 2700K. It's labeled on most light packaging. I think a lot of the manufacturers are missing the boat by not making the warm light more available; Especially when most consumers are used to the warm incandescent lighting they grew up with.

These pucks are bright!, so much more light than I thought they would produce. The daisy chain connectors are just the right length so two pucks next to each other don't leave a dark spot in the middle. I thought that was a great idea as other puck lights you have to figure it out for yourself (myself actually) with my Hampton Bay puck lights. I am not trash talking the Hampton Bay lights, but the bulbs have to be replaced way more often than I wanted. I will say one thing very cool about the Hampton Bay lights: the dimmer works with the new puck lights flawlessly. Somewhere today I found the replacement dimmer for the HB lights, and it was less than $20.00. And, oh, right, the LEDs will out live me quite likely.
