They look good in my light earthy-gray bathroom, with my brushed nickel fixtures. The package contains a brushed nickel and dark oil-rubbed bronze (practically black). I had can lights previously and these new ones were a little bit of a challenge to make flush, but we eventually did it.

The quality of these trims are acceptable, however when located in the store they are a white customizable led trim with the option of rubbed bronze or brushed nickel finish. I own an electrical company and purchased these for a customer. After a lengthy fact finding mission with customer service we found that the website has incorrectly labeled them as black. I can only hope any prospective buyers of this product find my review before they share the experience I had today.

Went in great. Used the alternate hooks that were supplied. Adjustable brightness.

Bought 4. One didn't work when it was plugged in at install. Had to take it back and get another. New one works fine and they look good. Easy to install.

These lights were just the ticket for a porch remodel over the summer. Dimmable and color-selectable, they work well with some festoon lighting to create a perfect atmosphere for relaxing. They were super easy to install, and worked well, even in the bead-board ceiling (they were designed for drywall) My wife couldn’t be happier with the finished product!

An easy installation, the Commercial Electric 4 inch recessed LED light is a great solution to upgrade your lights. The instructions were clear and easy to understand . It comes with a extra trim that is darker than the one pictured on the box. It also has a temperature switch that allows you to change the color temperature. It is a dimmable light that has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours.

For this review I tested the lamp in a conveniently low spot near a white wall. This lamp does not fit the can used in the picture. The lamp is very bright and attractive. It comes with two rings; black and brushed chrome. It installs in a 3 inch can by pressing into the can where metallic 'fingers' grip and hold tight. An included cable is screwed into a standard light socket and then plugs into the back of the lamp. You need about 5 inches of clearance in your can for it to fit. It is quite bright. The color changing capability is really impressive. There is a marked difference between warm white (2700K) and daylight(5000K). The attached pictures really do not do it justice. The down side is that the color of the lamp must be set manually. Set it to warm white and decide you want it cooler? You have to take each out of it's can to set the switch. If you have a room with 8 or 10 bulbs with a high ceiling that can be a pain. Especially since the lamp is held in with a very grippy press fit. I fear that removing the lamp from the can may be difficult, the 'fingers are quite firm and inflexible. It does not come with a white ring which is common in my house.

This COMMERCIAL ELECTRIC 4 IN. SELECTABLE INTEGRATED LED RECESSED RETROFIT INTERCHANGEABLE TRIM so far is my favorite light fixture that is stylish and bright. It is the most easiest light fixture to install because the end of the attachment is like a regular light bulb that you just screw on to the end. No other wires or boxes you have to figure out. Straight forward and nice design.

Super easy installing of this nice lighting fixture. These are very nice and install right inside the old can you have up already. The bulb assembly screws directly inside the current bulb socket. The ring is nice and looks like metal, this will cover the gap between can and ceiling boards. I wish this item came with a remote so you can work from a distance, lie others I have purchased.

NO matter Commercial or even household is a good choice of a 4" LED light. If you interest LED light but not big one e.g. 5" 6" Then this is one of a quite unique size for decoration your ceiling light system. The outlook design is fashionable and good for you to put whenever you like to put the light on. The brightness is strong enough to lights up your table top, picture or decoration rack for display. This LED had built in the color kevin adjustor for you can adjust the color from Daylight to most Warmer Tone. A spare Bronze Metal Ring for you can switch to your desire decoration. Material and Workmanship is fine and well built. As you know nowaday, LED benefit is given you longer life hour also energy saver too. For me I set it up in my laundry area in Daylight . Good !

Never be disappointed, color selectable LED recessed light. Changing out can light bulbs can be difficult and at times on a high ladder, unsafe. So, the less time you spend on a ladder changing incandescent bulbs the better. Replace and done. Perfect for new installation too. The Commercial Electric LED's are rated for over 50, 000 operating hours. In a tall stairwell application, this could be 5 to 10 years of life. Replacing a standard bulb is easy. Just screw in the included socket adaptor, plug in the orange plug, select your lighting color and snap the trim ringin place. If you're not happy with the color choice in the future, no big deal. Just pop down the trim ring and change the color switch. The light is dimmable with the use of most modern switches and smart home control devices. Its rated for direct contact to insulation, can even be used in wet areas (bathroom shower), and only uses 12.5 watts, yet still puts out 850 lumens. Comes with easy twist on off trim ring in stainless steel or black. Loosen two (2) screws to change to a 5-inch fixture. Even has friction ring trim tabs, if required. What's not to like?

Great LED Light to change out and existing incandescent spotlight in an overhead a can fixture. Installation is as easy as unscrewing the spotlight and screwing the wired extension into the socket and then pressing the fixture into the can, built in clips hold it firmly in place. First, be sure to set the color, from a choice of 4 lighting colors, from white bright to incandescent amber. You have a choice of 2 frames so it is easy to match the fixture to others in the room. I chose the brushed silver as it matched other accessories in my room. Once it is in the can I am not sure it can be taken out without damaging the rim, It says it could last 34 years so I don't think I will need to replace it anytime soon

This is a very nice and stylish recessed trim kit for your home decoration. It comes with two different types of trims, one brushed nickle and the other oil rubbed bronze. The trims are easy to change and the light is a simple plug and play recessed adapter kit. Only takes a few minutes to install into your existing recess housings. I like the uniqueness of the trims.

A Beautiful cost saving led recessed light that you can adjust what type of light your looking for from daylight to soft white light just by a switch on the Bach .installing is very easy just screw in the chord and attach the the plug no worries it can only go on one way the light also comes with an additional trim you just need a simple twist and the trim comes off .these new led lights run on very little energy .

This is a beautiful modern light. I have an alcove on the second floor of my home and it has a recessed light that I installed. This light is much better than the one I had and it comes with two different trim rings to fit your décor. The thing I like most about it, is that you can adjust the brightness. You can have it set to four different settings depending upon how bright you want the light to show. I took pictures of it at night and mid day. I have mine set on the natural daylight setting, which gives it an appearance similar to imported vehicle headlights. Very bright. Couldn't have been easier to install.

As an electrician I have put in thousands of different can trims over the last 25 years. I really like this one. The two trim covers that it comes with (bronze and brushed nickel) are actually nice, thick, heavy metal. They twist off and on quickly and easily. It took less than a minute to put on the bronze trim cover and install the fixture. Done. The finish looks good and appears to be quite durable. I am a fan of the selectable light color temperature. I set mine to 3000k, which I call 'clean white'. Not yellow, not blue, just clean white. I advise against using 4000k-6000k lighting (daybright). Substantial research had found that those color temperatures mess with your ability to fall asleep at night. Look it up. Brightness for this fixture is good, easily the claimed 850 lumens. Nice fixture. Time will tell on the longevity, but I have had good luck with this type in this brand.

Very nice looking trim for 5” or 6” dia ceiling light can with good light quality. Big improvement over our old yellowed-plastic trims for floodlight bulbs. Its light-color selection capability is a nice feature and easy to use – just position the slider switch on the back of the unit to the appropriate marked position. In our case we preferred the light from the warm white (2700K) setting. Two choices of trim bezels are included, with brushed nickel attached by default. Changing to the dark bronze (to match our ceiling fan) bezel just requires untwisting one and twisting on the other. Fortunately for installation in older light cans (ours were almost 30 years old), two methods are included. The default attached to the trim is spring clips that engage with tabs inside the existing can. But with our old can the spring clips didn’t pull the bezel close enough to the stucco ceiling to prevent light leakage above the bezel. The solution was to unscrew the spring clips & replace with the included friction clips. These worked great to secure the trim snugly to the ceiling. See attached photos.

VERY easy install! I love the ability to change the colors to suite the paint/lighting of a particular room too. I installed this in the master bathroom. Nice and bright. Comes with two trim rings, one is oiled bronze the other is brushed nickel. Simply make sure the light is off then remove the old light and trim ring from your existing can. Screw the adapter into the light socket and put the spring arms from one side into the can. Then plug it in, put the other spring arms on the other side into the can and press up. It takes about as long to do as it took you to read this... On the back is a switch that changes the color. Just decide what color you want and move the switch to that location. It has positive stops, so you pick from 5 different color temperatures. It isn't an infinitely variable slider, but it works! Quick install. Two included trim rings. Multiple light color options, really just makes sense!

New Construction or Upgrade an existing "can" ceiling light - The Commercial Electric 5 in. and 6 in. Color temperature select LED downlight is equipped with two visible trim covers: Brushed Nickel and Dark Bronze Trim. The "light" has a simple approach, unscrew the existing bulb and screw in the socket adapter (E26). It then plugs into the "bulb/trim" unit that houses the LED. Atop that unit is a simple slide switch where the color temperature you desire is selected. There are 5 choices: Warm White at 2700K; Soft White at 3000K; Neutral White at 3500K; Bright White at 4000K; and Daylight at 5000K. This is a great concept fixture with many applications, for me it will be located in my home office. This is a 75 watt bulb replacement using only 12.5 watts. It can also be dimmed to 10% without buzzing - which is great. Total life is listed at 50,000 hours.

I'm delighted with this LED recessed fixture retrofit kit. Compared with similarly priced products this one has two big improvements. The metal trim rings are elegant - much nicer than the molded plastic trim in the fixture I replaced. The switch on the back to change the color temperature is really neat. There are five color temperature settings, warm white (2700K), soft white (3000K), neutral white (3500K), bright white (4000K), and daylight (5000K). The 3500K setting is not available for most fixtures and would be a good choice for living areas. My wife is a fiber artist and wanted to review all the the color settings before settling on the 5000K Daylight setting. Her only complaint was that she wanted the switch to be accessible from the front. That said, it's fast to pull down the fixture on the spring clips, tweak the color switch, and push it back up. The spring clips can be adjusted for either 5" or 6" fixtures. They come set for 6" fixtures and that what I was installing it into. For cases where spring clips aren't possible friction clips are supplied. The spring clips are unscrewed and removed and the friction clips installed in their place. The light quality and evenness for all color temperatures is excellent - as the Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 90 indicates. It's bright at 850 lumens and uses only 12.5 watts. The manual says it's dimmable but I didn't test that. While the installation is pretty self explanatory, I have to complement the instructions for being well written and illustrated - an improvement over many fixtures I've installed in the past. This fixture comes with a 3-year warranty and is made in China.

Does not have magnetic cover plate feature

This was super easy to install. I like that there were two finish options included in the box. However, neither finish matched my shower head (where the light was going) perfectly. I also didn't like that you can see the little notches in the cover. I realize that these notches are necessary so you can switch out the cover finishes, but it bothers me. It doesn't bother anyone else though, I'm just picky!

Great product easy to install

Bought this item for front porch light, replaced an old broken light. Turns out, this product is well built and comes with bronze face plate. Very bright out put, will probably get a dimmer for it. Overall, great product. Highly recommended.

Easy to retro fit. Tip: connect and turn on before pushing in to housing to check the light/color setting - comes pre-set to the softer color and I wanted the brighter color. Very easy to then switch color by selecting slide switch before final install.

Lights were perfect. Very well built.
