If you have a normal house with normal light sockets, or proper wiring, this is such an easy install. Had to modify mine because the builders of my house were a little off, but yeah, super simple and looks good. For the price and the light output, this thing is great. I'll be buying at least 2 more next weekend.

The Commercial Electric Spin Light 11 in. LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light is a good replacement light or initial installation light for any area that needs good, bright light. You have two ways to hook this light up: screw into an existing light bulb socket or easily hard wire using the adapter. The light output of this unit is unquestionably strong and it is very good at illuminating small to very large spaces. I use mine for a storage closet (very tight area) but if this was used in a stairwell or garage it would illuminate the entire area regardless of size. The only drawback is the LED light output has a very cold, 'factory light' feel. The light color is not warm. Picture a shop light output. Design is sleek and fits very close to ceiling. The overall quality of this light is terrific and sturdy. Very good product and well made. Highly recommend.

Could this be any easier? Once installed, this looks as good as any built in fixture of the same type, but with excellent light, no light bulb changes to worry about and it will save electricity as well. I hope it lasts as long as estimated, but just never having to climb a stepstool to change a bulb or clean a glass bowl that bugs seem to love to crawl into before they are fried...is SO WORTH IT! I cannot think of a single downside to this product other than its cost.

The instructions are very poor and the illustration shows a twist on the mount base but the light itself is not designed to twist on. The included mounting bracket and screws are of the cheapest quality. That stuff aside, although I was told it could not be done by the Home Depot staff, I successfully used the light to convert a Hampton Bay Windward III ceiling fan originally equipped with a dual circuline down light to this LED down light and although it was neither quick, nor easy, it looks and functions very well. It required removing the ballast, tedious routing of the wires, obtaining different screws, and going through some difficult gymnastics in installing the final mounting screws. Yes, I am going to keep it and when the current lights burn out in my other bedrooms, if this light is still available, I will probably do the same conversion on them. My end result looks good and appears to be fully functional.

This thing is great! I had a dark bathroom with a recessed fixture that couldn't handle more than a 60 W bulb. I installed one of these next to it, wired up a pigtail from the existing fixture (using a 695601 and a 613947, the lamp holder is included) and WOW! Bright light! Now I can tell what color my socks are in the morning.

This fixture replaced an original recessed fixture over the sink in the kitchen. It was an unexpected, brilliant, and inexpensive upgrade !! I do the cooking all the time and I was amazed and pleased with how well I could FINALLY see what I am doing !!

Easy installation with bright light. Bought two. One for the laundry room and the order for the mast room closet.

If you have ah' regular light socket in your garage ceiling you gots to change the regular type bulb to this! It so looks good I'mma gonna use this inside tha' crib too!

I put four of these flushmount lights in my garage to replace bare bulbs. They were easy to install (just screw them in like a light bulb) and very bright. Perfect for a garage. Might be overpowering for a living area, but if you want bright light, they are perfect. I would recommend them for any indoor application where you currently have a bare bulb. They really add a finishing touch to our garage. We use our garage for both traditional car and off-road vehicle storage and a home gym.

I replaced the four bare light bulbs in my garage with these screw in light fixtures. They are the definition of easy installation, just screw it in. Very bright, clean light, just don't stare at it too long.

If you have one of those porcelain mount style fixture for a bare bulb and want to jazz it up without changing out the fixture, then the Easy Light is for you. It's really awesome and works great for my utility room. I used to have an ugly looking CFL bulb that was exposed in the room, now with the Easy Light the fixture is stylish and I don't have to worry about accidentally breaking an exposed bulb. I have the seven inch version in a small shed & it works great.

The unfinished side of our lower level had porcelain socket/ bare bulbs for lighting. After doing some cleaning and organization we decided to look into a higher light level and better aesthetic fixture. While we can do basic electrical work we decided to give this screw in fixture a try. Getting the 11" fixture was a great choice and I "guesstimate" that the light output is 3x greater than our previous 100W bulb. While I wouldn't prefer this high light level in a living space it is wonderful in a service area. It was a breeze to install and looks likes it's hard wired in. The attached pic doesn't show the fixture well but I wanted to include it to show the good light level in our service area.

I had the opportunity to review this product. At first glance it looks like a cheezy plactic fixture-. Well it is plastic but mad so it works well with installation. It has a unique bulb base that just screws into a light socket.. To mount in a established overhead just tahe the black and white wire and attach the supplied socket to screw the fixture into and then just place on ceiling using the existing screws that held the old fixture. I timed my install and it was under three minutes. It has the light output visually of a 75 watt incandescent bulb for comparison. The brite white color temperature is best to me. This does make a great closet light but would work well in hallways. The LED array spreads illumination quite nice.

Installing this "Easy Light" may be the easiest home improvement job I've ever done! It's so simple, in fact, if you can screw in a light bulb, you can do it! I installed mine in the garage where there was a single-light, porcelain fixture in the center of the ceiling that held a 100 watt incandescent bulb. All I had to do was unscrew the bulb and then screw this into where the bulb had been. Done. Even though the light output is equivalent to a 100 watt bulb at 1600 Lumens, it appears brighter since its LED light is a 4000K "bright white" type. I won't have to worry about replacing burnt out bulbs since this one is expected to last for 50,000 hours. Also, it states a savings of $429 over its life compared to an incandescent. It adds a classier look resembling those "mushroom" fixtures you see inside homes in hallways and utility rooms. The plastic globe is smart for a garage or other work areas where safety from glass breakage is a concern.

It appeared to be what I needed but the bracket wouldn't work.

The one i bought had tons of dust on it like it was old old stock, The one i had prior failed on me as would flicker. This one working.

Very dusty box, thought was old stock Light does work well although it was replacing same design that failed, I purchased again as i needed a fast fixture. Overall i like this product if it will last

I ordered several of these lights for my new home's basement. I replaced all the single light bulbs with these. Basement is much more bright and enjoyable to be in. Extremely easy to install. Take old bulb out and screw in these new ones.... done....

LOVE IT!!!! 1600 lumens is perfect for a stairway that has no natural light at all. I set the color "temperature" to the middle range as I didn't want it yellow but I also didn't want scorched earth. It works very well and I'm very pleased with it, lots of out light output with out being too much. This would be amazing in a garage, utility room, etc. There is one "gotcha" with it. The pictures do make it seem like it just screws into the bare bulb base, and it can. But, the preferred method to hang it would be to remove the bare bulb base and use the small bar it includes. The bar screws into the electrical box like a common light fixture. Once the bar is on you screw on the bulb and then use screws to the secure the bulb to the bar so it can't "spin off" the base. Overall, I love it. Well worth the money and now I see they offer a 4 pack, perfect for garages!!
