Easy to install and wire, comes pre-built with three wire push connectors (no more wire nuts!). Per my electrician, doesn't need to be mounted to Joists like a can light. *Warning* Template for cut-out states that it is 3.45". DO NOT CUT that big of a hole. 3.25" is the perfect size. I bought these to closely match our 15 year old existing halogen can lights. We have since swapped the bulbs to LED, but the trim ring was the closest we could find since this was an adjoining room to the existing fixtures.

I've used these previously on my kitchen/dining room remodel. They are easy to install and rather than use a large integrated driver box, these have a small box with easy to use wiring. The wiring has quick connectors which really speeds up installation, especially with stiff 12g wires. the box has a generous lead that allows you plenty of space. The only caution is the light advertises "Color Changing" what that really means is you can change the color TEMPERATURE from warm to daylight NOT a different hue. The spring attachment allows you to change from warm to bright by simply pulling the unit back out and selecting the switch setting.

So easy! This was replacing an old canned spot light. This literally took a minute to install. Awesome!

super bright for 4" Nice and compact to fit in snug areas. and Gimble makes the aim adjustable to angle the direction. Perfect for my application to illuminate a staircase from the ceiling (stairs above). They're installed at an angle, but the light shines perfectly straight down...AND you csn change the color as needed i set mine to daylight.

Very easy yo install... I just had to make the 4 in hole a little bigger... Comes with quick connectors. Just had to match the color of the wires. It clipped right on.. Set it into place. Turned it on and aimed it to where I wanted the most light.. Adjusted the color of the light.

Worked great for placing lights near ceiling joists.

Easy to install. I recommend also buying the "bore tool," that connects with a drill. You will get an exact cut instead of using a drywall knife. Its a little pricey so if you need many, consider the costs.
