I've only had these lights for a little over a week, but so far everyone loves them. I really like the ability to change the color of the lights. They also dim very well, with no blinking whatsoever. One word of warning, however, which is probably true of most if not all LEDs is that it takes some of the lights a little while to come on at low levels of brightness (10%). But once their own, they can do down to low levels with no problem. They also work really well with Amazon Echo (Alexa). I can't comment on their durability, but they do have a 5-year warranty. Another great feature when using the Wink Hub 2 is that the lights still turn on and off and dim without an internet connection .

Easiest light if ever assembled. Worked easily with the Wink app but was disappointed when the Alexa app did not recognize the light. Maybe someday. Got this at a tremendous discount price.

Had 11 installed in 3 rooms. I had them for about one month now. Very happy with them in combination with Wink Hub 2. Pros: - Very nice design - Easy to install - Great dimming range - It keeps the previous setting, even after you turn off the wall switch which cuts the power to the lights. - Good price Cons: - It takes about 1 to 1.5 seconds for the light to turn on. - Sometimes one or two of the lights take longer than others to light up - Dimming and color change have about 0.5 seconds delay.

I've tried just about every smart light product on the market, and the Commercial Electric Smart LED Down Light truly impressed me. Here's why: (1) At $30, it's cheaper than some standard LED bulbs, but you're getting a full recessed can light with multiple color temperature options and connected capability. Once you set color temperature via the Wink app, the light remembers the setting, so you can pick your favorite and use it, even though you obviously have no control over changing it from a wall switch. (2) The light is very well made, with a great spring-clip mechanism and the added benefit of a rubber ring around the interior of the rim to provide insulation. (3) Because this downlight is all one piece, rather than a cone with a hole for a standard lightbulb, it eliminates drafts and the entry point for bugs that plague typical downlights. But all that being said, there are three significant problems with the Smart LED Down Light, none having much to do with the light itself, as follows: (1) Connection to the Wink Hub was troublesome, as the app kept reporting that the connection had failed, but in fact after three tries, I went back into the app and found that the light had actually registered. I called Wink about this and they acknowledged it as a bug. (2) Smart bulbs, which this essentially is, will not function if you manually turn off the light switch they are connected to. You must use the smartphone app to operate them. (3) Equipping an entire bank of smart lights on a single switch, as you might have in a kitchen, is not a good value proposition, nor is it very user-friendly, for the reason stated above. If you have two or more lights on a single bank, you absolutely should buy a smart switch, which will allow you to retain control over the lights from the wall. It's also more economical, as the switch can control up to 150W of LEDs, and costs just twice as much as a single Smart LED Downlight.

Be aware; Even though they say the “app” is free eventually Wink will charge $4.99 per month just to turn you light on. $60 bucks a year might not be worth it

These lights are great. I purchased them 2 years ago and they have worked well. You need to understand that Wink is starting to charge a $5/month service charge for the Wink Hub. This may not effect the decision of some people, but $60 per year beyond the Wink Hub may.

Purchased for features and free app. Surprise, surprise - now Wink going to charge $5 per month to keep ability to use app. So I have invested $$$ on fixtures and time to set up and now it is all flushed b/c these clowns couldn't make their business model work. Now I have to find replacements that work with a free service. See ya!

bought 45 of these for indoor/outdoor in a very big home, few of them keep dropping connection with wink requiring re-pairing which often involves resetting and now couple have stopped lighting up at all in warm white color, they only work in natural white ..., not over 10 months old yet .. I wish I had kept the receipts

We remodeled our entire home with CE 6in LEDS 2.5yrs ago. The non smart LEDS are working fine however the smart LEDs are a different story. We used the smart LEDs for the kitchen because the 2700k was too yellow and dim for a gathering area. During the first 1.5yrs the lights were fine, then the smart LEDs started disconnecting themselves. We have update the hubs, uninstalled all smart LEDs and re-installed them and do not work properly any longer. At times, on 2 of the nine in the kitchen turn on, at times 3 out of 9, etc., etc. Then for some strange reason, they all turn on. The sad part about these lights is that their 5yr warranty from the manufacturer is only valid if you kept your receipt. Unfortunately we didn't feel that we needed to keep a receipt for a bulb that supposedly last 35 years on the label. So we're stuck paying $30+/- for another 9 bulbs which seems really unfair. I do not recommend CE smart LEDs. You'll regret it at year 2+.

One of the better smart devices I have used. Nice color changes from the wink app, doesn't seem to lose connection unlike some other devices.

Need to purchase a wireless hub for $100.. Waste of money for something being discontiued.

These lights are the easiest replacements ever. The lighting transformed my room into an area where it went from just ok to amazing. Being smart lights that are Wink compatible brought this lighting project to a whole new level.

work weel just as lights, I have yet to hook in to my home system as I have not yet completed that task. but I'm sure they will work well and I for sure am excited about the ability they have to change brightness. but bright right out of the box on there default running just on wall switch.

Fit in easy! I admit that I bought at clearance price though.

Light is Great, but you need a hub to work it.

Took 5 minutes to assemble. Easy to pair with wink hub. Maintains the color selection in the wink app.

The wink hub and these lights didn’t work together

Good product but has to use the wink hub thats 100 bucks. Needs to be adaptable to other hubs.

This was the second time that I purchased this particular item as a replacement light. One thing that I liked before was the option to choose the light brightness setting by simply sliding a switch on the housing to your choice. The switch has been removed. You must now purchase a hub sold separately and download their app. They tout this as an upgrade as you then can control their 'smart' light. When purchasing I wrongly assumed that it would be an either/or deal, but I was wrong. Perhaps there was another product, but I did not see it while shopping. So beware of the changes made.

I purchased a total of 10 of these lights—6 for one room and 4 for another room. I have had a couple of disappointments. First, the pigtails were not standard on all of the lights. Second, they do not pair well or easily with the Samsung SmartThings hub.

I saw these on the shelf and liked the amount if control you have over brightness and color rendering. Just download the wink app on your phone or tablet, purchase a wink hub to connect to your Wi-Fi and you're all set. You can control lights individually or in groups even when you're away from home. We liked them so much we have installed 40 of them throughout the house as we renovated.

Installed LED dimmable switch with this LED light, but still flickers. Dissapointed.

I'm an HVAC contractor that is well rounded in electrical wiring, although the lights are fairly easy to install and have simple instruction, keep in mind that I'm using a Wink Hub and the lights are designed to work with it and it did. The lights were very easy to connect and operate from my phone.

Easy to install and wifi setup with my system was a breeze. The one improvement for a 5 star would be if a manual wall switch toggled an override of an off state.

Take multiple tries to connect to the wink hub, and could be a little more brighter, but good for the price.
