It tears very easily. Even if you put an object on it , you will get a hole. I guess it is OK . Once I put the carpet over it, as long as it doesn't tear, I think it will be sufficent . I should have purchased a thicker one but I didn't want to spend more money.

If you enjoy the soft and luxurious comfort of scrap foam with hardened pieces of resin every 6", this is your carpet pad. It's so bad that even walking over the pad tears the moisture barrier at the resin location. Just awful.

Thank you for your feedback. This is not normal for any of our carpet pad products. Please return the roll to your local Home Depot for a refund and/or exchange of product.
