The kit wasn't exactly right . But, right enough that I got the faucet rebuilt.

I had to return the kit. It was too short and leaked badly. I found the correct kit in Tennessee.

Exactly what I ordered! Installs and works great.

The crane rebuild kit looked and felt of quality. Not many of the crane model available. Had a pro install in July 19’. No leaks and looks promising in extending the life of shower.

This kit contains all necessary components to rebuild the Crane Company tub and shower fixture. The parts are accurate reproductions of all parts and appear to be of good quality. The Crane fixtures are from another era, with heavily built body and components, making them well worth renewing, without the need to break tiles or walls. The accompanying chrome escutcheons and handles will make the entire unit look new again. It would be helpful if an installation guide or even an exploded view of the parts was included with the kit. However, if care is taken to note the sequence of assembly while removing the parts, installation of the new parts is relatively easy and, in my opinion, can be accomplished by any handyperson with moderate skills using standard household tools, including a pipe wrench, slip joint pliers and a Phillips screwdriver. There is no need to worry too much about damaging the old parts since all necessary replacement parts are included with the kit, and the final installation should give many more years of good service.

The package was missing two fiber washers, and had to substitute o-ring which does not work as well.

It would be nice to get a tool with the kit to remove and install the slotted sleeve inside the housing in the wall, otherwise it fit just fine.

Size of knobs way off and flimsy. Would not work.

Fit perfectly, even looks cool! Has a retro vibe. This kit really spared us from a ton of hassle since we had accidentlally thrown away a ton of parts. Pretty easy to install and put together.

The product is good(only if all the parts were in it). I had to buy 2 extra rubbers(which they don't sell single, so I had to buy 2 separate 10pc/box sizes). That's the only issue with it

Home Depot is my hero. I looked local for parts to rebuild my older ( 1975) crane shower hot and cold valves. Only thing I could find was the stems and they had to be ordered. I looked at all stores around that sold plumbing ,including Lowes, but had no luck. The rebuild kit parts worked great with no leaks and they look brand new again. I bought another kit to rebuild my bathtub faucet.

It was such a relief when I found this kit on homedepot.com!!! I had driven all over the place and only found bits and pieces.
