The machine itself, with proper maintenance, works well, but the linchpins that hold the blades to the drive shaft are too weak to handle to torque from the engine and all 4 failed. Two sheered completely and two partially cracked and had to be replaced. Also the skid assembly does not bring the blades up enough to use the machine on gravel drives, so best on paved areas.

My old 15 year old Toro snowblower wouldn't start during a snowstorm. I ordered this the next day after 7 hours of shoveling the driveway. Fast forward another week and another snowstorm. I couldn't wait to try this out, wow what a difference. Over 15 inches of wet snow in upstate ny. We have a gravel driveway and it wasn't a problem at all. It cut a path uphill to our barn and a path around the house for our dog with no problems. It wasn't a problem going through the snowbank from plow. Our old one couldn't have done it. This is easy to use,the lights are bright enough to use a night durung the heavy snow. Don't hesitate, you won't regret buying this.

Delivered 5 days early and got it assembled before Nor’easter bomb cyclone hit NH! Had to remove slack in Speed Selector Cable as Reverse-1 did nothing. One problem before/after adjust: Speed Selector very hard to move from For-2 to Rev-2, can't adjust around this = took off 1 star. Hope cable doesn't break before I can look at friction wheel in warm weather. Moves snow great, and love Zero-Turn Posi-Steer.

This machine is a beast!

Works like it should, throws snow very well. It is heavy to maneuver and the chute cables get caught on various parts of the blower. I’ve only used once so far so I may get better at operating it as the season continues.

It was easy to put together took only 20 minutes. Everything worked as advertised we had around 12in of snow in 2 days and it worked great I am very pleased with it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for well built snowblower. It is very easy to operate it started 1st pull every time didn’t use electric start yet no need and it was -5 digress and it still started 1st pull just follow directions that’s all I did.

After just 1 year, it runs like crap. Called to get a carb rebuild kit. They don't make one for this model. They make you buy a new carburetor. I will never buy anything from Cub Cadet again.

yes, my Cub Cadet 26 inch 243 cc Two-Stage Gas Snow Blower with Electric Start did meet my expectations. i have spent the last many years operating an older version of this and this one has many improvements. it did however have a manufacturing flaw as the left clutch lever was improperly installed.

Love the power steering and the controls. Went through 12+” snow with no problem. Big improvement from my craftsman. They need to offer a better cab option because I could find one as good as my 10 years old craftsman cab. That’s my only ding.

Cable broke right away. Home Depot online customer service was utterly worthless. This was the last item I ever buy online from HD. once the have your money, your on your own with repairs and warranty. Buy it face to face at a place that cares about their customers.

Made in USA and it shows. It took about ten minutes to assemble using an adjustable wrench. It started on the first pull. Zero problems.

After using for the first time, the cable that controls the gear shifting handle broke. I went to my local Home Depot (where I purchased it), to see what can be done since I only used it once and it was purchased the day before. The ASM gave me a hard time about the cable and said I would have to order a new one. I refused since I purchased it the day before. They ended removing a cable from a MTG Snowblower to replace. I was not happy and this was poor salesmanship.

Broke after 2 uses— does not want to start. Very disappointed

I have used it in two storms now and it has been very good.

Used once and engine seized. Contacted manufacturer, WE, have to deliver to an authorized repair shop. Not happy, this was an expensive mistake. Repairing a brand new machine leaves one wondering about the quality of the product.

I went from a 30 year old Roto-hoe to this unit, and while the zero turn triggers are amazing, the throw distance of this machine has always been extremely poor. Even during cold Minnesota days where the snow is dry and fluffy, this unit struggles to throw the light snow more than 15' in first gear, often having to slow down (in first gear) so the unit can catch up (in anything more than 6"). Living just outside Boston I’ve used mine twice now. Most recently for 18 inches of snow. Worked great. Easy to use and throws the snow far.

bought this brand new in 2019. used it x2 then wouldn't start. took to be serviced. ran x1 then wouldn't start. serviced again. brought it home and stored in shed for summer. come winter, it will not start. today's big blizzard, I went to try it again and the pull cord snapped. paid a lot of money for a snow blower only to have to shovel all winter. had it serviced each time by home depot. really makes me question if I will EVER buy anything from them again. terrible "machine", terrible repair service. Utter garbage. save your money to hire a plow driver.

Purchased in Nov 2021 and made sure to get an unassembled boxed unit. Assembly took about an hour with basic tools. Started up easy. Used for 3 storms, 6-8” heavy wet snow as well as fluffy snows No issues. Only “complaints” are 1st gear too slow, 2nd too fast. Needs something in between. Handle bars are too high and uncomfortable. Paddles for drive & auger are too wide and uncomfortable to hold down. Overall nice unit but going to make adjustments to the paddles and bars.

I have never left a review for any product. Not even a year old. The piece of garage has a dead engine. Please buy any other product in the world. This garbage cost me almost $1700. What a pice of $hit.
