You nay sayers don't know what you're talking about! If this product did not work, it wasn't prepped correctly! Prepping is essential using this product. I was in the tile business in Texas for 30 years. I did see fails with RedGuard, but it wasn't because the RedGuard failed, it was because there was dust film on the surface. A bond is only as strong as what it is sticking to! The surface must be clean for the adhesion to grab. Same thing applies tiling floors on a slab. If the floor has any dust, that dust will form a barrier between the thinset mortar and the slab--same with RedGuard. I'm getting ready to use RedGuard in the incapsulation of the crawlspace of my house in North Carolina.

Rating it 4 because its the first time I used it. Application was easy: I applied 4 thick coats to a shower stall (DIY), approximately 1/2 the bucket, as an anti fracture & waterproofing membrane. We'll see what time tells, but so far, I'm happy with how it feels and am confident it will work just fine.
