I purchased this as a replacement for an old spout....
I purchased this as a replacement for an old spout. It comes with an adapter to fit 1/2" or 3/4" threaded pipe. Easy to install.

When installed, it still would leak some water into the tub (the reason I bought a new one to beg...
When installed, it still would leak some water into the tub (the reason I bought a new one to begin with). I had to pull up on the diverter when the shower was on to stop the leakage! Very cheaply made. I would have preferred a delta instead but my local Home Depot was out of stock of the Delta. A common occurrence at this location - ARGH !
