Cuts well and is light and convenient. Battery life is good. Great for home use not made for commercial or large Cuts.

It cuts with aplomb. Bushes, small branches, and electrical cords all fall prey to this trimmer’s sharp blades and strong action.

I was looking for something light my wife could use to clear limbs after storms without getting out our bigger saws. Easy to use, battery life has been good, and just in time for hurricane season. I've cut stuff up about 6" oak after our tornados last month. Impressed.

This hedge trimmer was able to get thru my job without changing the battery. Already had 2 20v batteries from my DeWslt drill..

Light weight and easy to use

This thing is super light and maneuverable- holding it at odd angles is easy and natural. You can easily run it with one hand when you need to reach. It is also quite sharp and leaves a super smooth cut. I ran it today, did a dozen chest high shrubs and my 5 amp battery was still on 2 bars. I was hesitant to get it since i already have two others (echo 40v, ryobi one), but i detest them. Best tool decision I’ve made in a long time.

Many of the negative comments mentioned oil leaking from the saw in excessive amounts. Because of that I inspected the oil filler cap immediately when I got the saw out of the box. Sure enough there was an o-ring groove on the cap and no o-ring. I'm not sure how many owners have experience with o-rings and, so, would notice one missing. I've filed a warranty claim but will now try to find a repair shop that will sell me an o-ring. Besides that, the battery and the charger must have been designed on different planets. It was very clumsy getting the battery into the charger. So, overall, I'm not very enthusiastic about the quality of the saw. No surprise, it was made in China.

Haven't used it yet but had to drive back to the store since the box had nothing but the saw and no battery, charger or manual. Customer rep said it had probably been previously returned without those items. I would think HD would check that before putting it back on the shelf to sell.
