Works excellent and heats my 1000 sq ft garage with ease. You definitely have to adjust the low air pressure set screw out of the box or at least I had to adjust. My understanding is the cone inside the heat camber should be cherry red with little to no dark spots. Definitely helps with the smell of kerosene as there is very little know after adjustment. I've attached out of box and adjusted photos.

The Dewalt Heater is easy to assembly. Two wheels and attach three bars. Takes about 35 minutes. Unpacking is a bit clumsy. Call a buddy who can lift, it’s worth the beer. For the first start, I used kerosene with the recommended additive. For filling, use a long neck funnel. The filler cap is located slightly under the heat canister, it makes it hard to get to with a five gallon jug of fuel. I plugged the heater in, turned the arrow on the knob to point straight up, then pushed the button, instant hot air blasted out. My shop is located on the side of a barn. It is un-insulated wood sides, about (16’x24’) in size. My test; It was 37° farenheit outdoors, about the same inside. The Dewalt heater raised the temperature inside to 54° in 15 minutes. The shed cooled to 42° in 20 minutes. I’m happy! I have used a cast iron wood burning stove for many years. It would take about an hour and a half to bring the room to that temperature with wood. There are many advantages to burning wood for heat, but not when you have a quick job to do in the shed. Now the Dewalt takes care of that. Five stars and a thumbs up! Thanks Dewalt. If I have any problems in the future I will report back.

I love the heater. Most importantly this heater will accept #1 and #2 diesel, JP8 A fuel and #1 and #2 fuel oil. I wish that information was mentioned in the product description. It's hard to find kerosine in a city. Anyhow, it's a good heater. Buy one.

Amazing heater . Heats up garage in minutes . Only con is the rate of fuel consumption. Easy to assemble worth the money .

Bought this figuring it’s a brand name Dewalt and was willing to pay a little extra. Biggest piece of junk EVER. Worked twice then won’t light. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Repeat do not waste your $$. Got a cheap brand and it’s still working after 3 years.

Great product, have had another one for many years and them needed another one.

it does not have a digital temperature gauge on it as my old one did. also, the axle was missing i called customer service and they sent a new one.

Unfortunately blows a lot of smoke and has issues. Taking it back.

Bought for my cabinet shop. Worked great first time. Second time it leaked fuel out front. Blew out. Then once it ignited. It burned all extra fuel and my whole shop stunk and eyes burned. The Dewalt name and price I paid for it. Expected a better product.

Heater will not stay lit sprays raw fuel everywhere. Checked pressure and it’s where it should be. Will be returning this heater.

This unit works perfect and the only reason for not giving it a 5-Star rating is because it consumed more fuel than I had expected.

Heats very well. Don’t over fill because it will leak though the cap vent hole.

I’m using this in my pole barn and it works perfectly!

Assembly was quick and easy. It would not fire up only spits fuel. I put a gauge on it and adjusted it to the proper level and still would not fire. I then took the cover off and it would fire up and run, but would not fire with the cover on. I checked to make sure theres proper flow and everything was good but still would not run with the cover on. Ended up returning it

Great look great warmth

I have one in my main and another in my spare garage for about two years now. I use them to melt the ice and snow mainly off my vehicles and also to keep warm too. They heat up quick and I have burned both kerosine and diesel . The kerosine is cleaner to burn and less smelling vs the diesel. I would have given it a five star but I've had to replace the lines on it already and fell I shouldn't of had to on it this early just yet.

I have another one of the same brand that has a temperature display. I don’t think it is so easy to use without a temperature display.
