The power adapter to go to AC is SOLD SEPARATELY! The battery and charger is also SOLD SEPARATELY! Only good for 12V DC. Most new cars are getting rid of 12v DC adapters. Make sure you don't have a new model vehicle that got rid of 12v adapters!

Love this product! Just pop a battery in, screw the full hose on your tire, set the pressure, and it shows you the pressure as it fills your tire! You don’t have to hold the hose on or keep checking as it fills. I verified the pressure with a high end gauge and all four tires were spot on. I highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product to have an easy way to inflate our car tires to the correct pressure. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get the product to work. When I connect the inflator nozzle to the car's tires, it correctly detects the pressure, but after setting the pressure to inflate (35 psi), it stops working after a second. For some reason, air is not going into the tire, so the machine shuts off because the pressure spikes in the tube. I have tried I multiple tires, and adjustment the nozzle to different levels of tightness, but to no avail.

Bought today. Took out of the box. Smaller than expected (awesome), looks great, feels great holding it with a nice rubber coated handle and is lightweight. Put fully charged 6ah battery on. Hooked it up to our pop up camper tires. Brass thread on connector is perfect. First tire forgot to log start pressure about 44-47 to 65 in 2 min 27 sec, 2nd tire 41.7 to 65 in 3 min 16 sec. Did all 4 of the wife's SUV tires for fun they were all similar. 32.8 to 35 in 46 sec each. Full battery still. What!!

I've always been a DeWalt fan so when I saw this I, "needed" it. It's worth it over a big compressor or even a pancake one. portable and has many ways to power it. only flaw is its slow. took 15 minutes for about 20 psi to inflate a tire

Very easy to use and gets the job done

I’m a contractor and I haul a dump trailer and get lots of flat tires on it, the tires I have on it sit at 80 PSI, I tested it today on a flat after repairing it, it filled it to 78psi then the freshly charged large 4AH batt died and took a good 30 mins! Now if you were using it for small cars (30psi) or what not this is perfect but soon as you start going over the 50 psi you better not be in a rush and have extra batteries laying around! Or use the included 12v car adapter but soon as you unwrap it your never getting it back in it’s compartment! Now the interface is perfect! It tells you what it’s and the even the percentage and you can set and forget as it will stop on its own after it reaches the set psi but the fact that they advertise on the box up to 160psi I could only assume that would take over a hour and a flexvolt battery or 2 and that’s hoping it dosnt catch on fire from running that long! All in all, your average user doesn’t need to go beyond 50 psi so I would still recommend this with the caution of the misleading box!

I love the easy of use. Just set the psi and turn it on, auto shut off is nice. The desired set stay after each use so it is quick to do all the tires on one car. Easy to read display. I love using the battery and not having to deal with any cords.

Got a flat on the highway in the pouring down rain, the dewalt got me back on the road and i was able to drive to a nearby tire shop. Without this i would have been stuck.

Awesome little inflator, work on lawn tractor tires, bikes and river tunes to namea few things I've used it on so far, highly recommend

I bought this inflator on “BLACK FRIDAY” and I love it, my truck tires were at 32 psi I needed them to be at 40 psi it takes about 22.5 sec per psi to inflate I used a 20v/60v FlexVolt battery The unit did not get warm, while the unit was on the ground it was sitting on the battery because the battery is rather large but the unit did not move nor did the unit tip over and there wasn’t any air leaks.

From the threaded connector to the automatic gauge and ability to set the pressure and walk away, this thing impresses. If I had a pile of them each time I show it off, I'd make a bundle selling them. It's surprisingly fun, and handy tool.

This is way better than I had head to what it would be seeing all the other inflators on the market but this one blew be away. You can power off your accessory socket in the car, with a DeWalt battery. Has a blower on it not like blowing up like a air mattress. Has an LED work light. Has onboard fittings and storage locations for them on the end side of the unit is a high-pressure needle, high pressure tampered nozzle, a Presta valve adapter. Looking forward to years of great use. Also like that I don't have to use my battery can just power off the car or what ever way I need at the time

I think this is the most versatile inflator to date. Used to blow up small boat and several tires. Works flawlessly. The only thing I could not resist doing is make an adapter to let me connect and disconnect quickly. I hate to screw in and off each time I change from tire to tire. This adapter lets me have the best of both worlds. In a tight area, the screw on has the advantage. Otherwise, I like the quick connect/release. A link to the AC adapter would be appreciated.

I have had this for a few weeks, and have used it a couple of times on pickup truck tires. The inflator is a convenient size and weight, and despite being supplied with a lower-capacity battery (instead of a larger one you might want on a saw), it seems able to power the inflator through a typical "top-off" of tires. The digital display is very bright, and the "twist-to-set" pressure control is helpful. It's great that you can set the target pressure, start the pump, and tend to other things while the pump pumps away. The pump stops very close to the set pressure -- better than other automatic pumps I've tried. The gauge agrees with other gauges I have, so I presume it's reasonably accurate. (If you're using the pump at a high altitude, which I'm not, be sure to read the manual for instructions on adjusting the gauge to read correctly.) The pump comes with the battery AND a 12v cigarette lighter connector (which I haven't tried, but I presume might work less well than the DeWalt battery). The teeny "work light" is dim compared to most flashlights but it is quite handy for seeing the valve stem over the glare of the bright pressure display. The downsides: The danged thing says it does NOT charge the battery. SO you have to have a charger available. And presumably the gauge and pump circuit will continually drain the battery a bit so I never plan to store the pump with the battery attached. (I suppose I could try to hack in a shut-off switch and maybe even a built-in charger once I have had it beyond the factory warranty.) ;-) Furthermore, like all of these lightweight pumps, it will only operate a few minutes at a time. It runs maybe ten minutes then shuts itself off when it gets hot, and you have to wait quite a few minutes before it's usable again. SO if you have more than one low tire, expect the process to take awhile. The little screw-on Schrader connector (for the tire stem) is secure, but a hassle to twist on, especially if your fingers are cold. My brother assembled a brass Schrader-to-quick-connect adapter that makes checking pressure and inflating tires much more convenient. (See photo.) I wish a high quality quick-connect was included on the hose. Finally, because there's no place in the pump's case for storing my brother's valve adapter or a place to keep the battery when it's not connected, for now I keep a separate box with the pump to store the valve adapter, battery, and a charger. It's a bit of a hassle, and long term, some sort of protective case would be nice. But not included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this pump on a complete flat tire, and I was amazed by the quickness the tire filled, and how user friendly the pump is. I set the dial to 34 psi pressed the button and the tire was filled within a couple of minutes. The digital gauge is awesome and easy to read. Once it reached 34.1 psi it automatically shuts off. No worries if I over inflated the tire. The hose is strong with a screw on brass tip for a secure fit. Has a built-in flash light which can come handy on those dark roads. It can inflate and deflate in no time with three different tip tools it comes with. I used the DCB203 20v Battery on my pump, but it can also work on AC power. This is definitely a pump you want in you garage, and if possible in the trunk of your car for those long trips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this inflator for a few weeks but I've already used it quite a bit. Saved me from removing a trailer tire and taking it to the shop for repair. I was able to add air and drive it there instead. This thing paid for itself with that use alone. I also use it to adjust air pressure in my dirt bikes when we're out in the woods. I can ride to the truck, set the pressure and ride out. No more hand pumps or corded 12v pumps! I've used some cheaper brand battery powered inflators and DeWalt did their research on this one because they eliminated all of the annoyances from the other ones. The LED light helps a lot in low light conditions and the dial to set air pressure is fast and easy to use, unlike pushing a button 50 times on the other brands, haha. Anyway, it's a great tool and I'm going to use it a lot more. Highly recommended!!

It is portable!!! and even a 2ah battery can easily inflate 4 tires!! And the build in gauge is as accurate as it gets!! loving it!

Purchased this air pump for my RV. Tires are inflated to 65 and 80 psi. Set the pressure on the pump and it turns off automatically when it reaches that pressure. I used it on battery since my drill used the same battery. It has a 12v cord. I wanted the AC adapter but HD didn't carry it. Overall, it works great.

Overly impressed with the product. Adding air to bike, car tires, mattresses and pool toys is a breeze.

Inflator seems to work well, but the inflator line is too short (as it is on all similar inflators). I don't know why they're not made longer.

This inflator was highly rated. Has multiple sources of Electricity. You can use a DeWalt Battery or the 12V auto outlet. Can inflate other items like - sports equipment (football, basketball, etc) Will also inflate inflatable beds and pool tools.

Perfect fir airing any tire. Don't need to drag out extension cord, air hose, air gauge. I have used this to air wheelbarrow tires, hand truck, trailer tires and F150 Ford truck tires.
