[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made a new friend this morning... His name is Lickety Shhplit. I ran him on an 8ah battery for 3 maybe 4 hours than switched to a 5ah. When I started it was 3am and still dark so the LED light came in the clutch. But when the light came out the light was no longer needed yet still on... I can see a sensor for that coming in the near future... And the plastic blade change trigger seems odd, I wonder how long that things gonna last. Other than that ...I feel this is the nicest 20v DeWalt oscillating tool out. Oh, I'm redoing caulking on tennis and basketball courts with this guy today

I love the quick Change feature for the blades. One more tool for the battery system.

I shopped this tool purchase for about 3 months. I've had two different corded oscillating multi-tools and was very aware of their shortcomings and what I wanted. I'm always cutting off something, be it rusted toilet flange bolts, hidden brad nails, or busted fasteners--usually in an awkward/delicate situation. My old corded multi-tool was a brute-force, all or nothing behemoth that was seriously lacking in fine control. I often resorted to my rotary tool with a cut-off wheel (and sometimes a foot pedal switch) to get in there and do the job because I had much more control. This was the only multi-tool among the contenders I was shopping that had a variable speed trigger. All the others involved a two-handed operation to turn the thing on/off and to adjust the speed. The 3 Speed Range Switch on the lower handle and the tool-free Accessory Clamp Lever sold me. The brushless motor, the natural feeling ergonomics, the LED light were all bonuses. 5 Stars for the best Oscillating Multi-Tool on the market for my purposes.

This tool is great for getting at hard to reach areas and close to the wall areas. Limited use so far but I already find its very handy. I am taking down the ceilings in my RV to replace them and I have to get really close to the walls and cabinets.

I wanted a multi tool and decided after researching that this was it. I like the function of the tool and it does what it is designed to do. I gave it 4 stars because as someone else mentioned in the reviews the battery that comes with the tool has a very short charge life. I simply switched it out for the longer life battery that came with my Dewalt impact drill and it worked fine. I've used it for flush cuts, cutting the head off of a screw I could not remove, small wood cuts that were hard to reach and can say I am very pleased with my purchase.

Saw works great Had no problem and the charger for battery worked great. Battery holds charge very well.Purchased the tool to remove the grout from tiles in my kitchen. Will regrout floor and have a new look in my kitchen.

Excellent multi tool!! It’s balanced, easy to operate, and much more convenient than using a corded one, or looking for a plug. It arrived fast, in mint condition, and at a decent price point!
