Purchased this pressure washer (Dewalt DXPW4035) from Home Depot just over a year ago. Used twice a week to wash dirty logs before we cut them on the sawmill. Maintenance performed regularly (changing pump and/or engine oil ect,), never started without water running, air bled from the lines, and stored indoors. The pump suffered a catastrophic failure. A piston rod on the AAA Triplex pump crumbled rendering this $1,000 pressure washer completely useless!

The pump is not accepting water on the first use. Turned on my water source and water starts shooting everywhere. Very disappointing to have this issue directly out of the box.

Used this piece of junk 3 times for short periods. On the 3rd use it started spraying pump oil out all over the driveway from the little black cap. It then turned to water spraying out. Now it is just leaking whatever is left onto my shop floor. Can't seem to find parts for this nor info on how to get warranty work. But looking at the other reviews I doubt I will get help anyway. I will never buy another dewalt product. This is total trash.

I have owned several other Pressure Washers from 2500 to 3700 psi. I can say with relative certainty that this Dewalt 4000psi is conservatively rated. This unit was purchased online and arrived undamaged and with all parts included for a quick 15 min set up. The units Honda GX 270 engine runs like a Swiss watch started on the second pull. This engine is strong and balanced but quiet relative to its size and power output. My first task was the concrete floor in my 4 car garage. 45 min , done

Easy start & maintenance. It has more than enough pressure & power to complete any task around my home/property fast. The quality of parts & materials is above average & have held up great over the past 2 years. The handle easily removes so I can put this in the back of my SUV. It's easy to maneuver. Bought this psi washer for occasional use with construction company, first was to soft wash a large roof, second job was to prep for building paint job, nothing unexpected or demanding. On the second job the pump blew rods and seals and had to be sent out for repair( took 2 months). Got it back and psi washed my patio, pump blew again in 45 minutes!

My simpson bit the dust so i had to make a snap purchase and this was the pnly one they had at the time that would work for me. It was very hard to start but it performed well when it got going. I used this brand new pressure washer about two hours total last year to finish washing my dock. Pulled it out to wash my boat this year and it will not pump. Starts up and immediately loses pressure. Come on Dewalt this is a brand new unit is it still looks new, Watts up

This machine has a great overall performance. Great pairing for DeWalt and Honda. However, I can't say anything positive about the AAA Triplex oil level sight window other than it is easy to read that most of the oil has once again leak out of its inferior gasket-to-groove reservoir. One positive way of looking at it is the oil will always be fresh and clean.

so far this machine is everything I wanted but I’mgiving it 3 stars because the first one i bought missing hose. Had to return for an exchange. Now i opened the box and i thought yeah everything is there. Nope. The thumb knobs are missing. So I had to use bolts I found in my toolboxs to put it together. The hose is not the hose in the picture or video. Its an industrial hose that wil not twist or bend with pressure. Also its so thick that it wont hang properlly So i had to return and buy the 80.00 flexible hose. Which if you look in the video thats the hose he’s using????? The picture shows the hose it came with and the hose i bought. Both 50’ foot long

purchased this and it runs fine but the sight glass constantly leaks pump oil. reached out to dewalt which told me to reach out to the pump manufacturer. turns out pump seals are not under warranty and you have to buy a 200 dollar rebuild kit to get the seal. purchased the kit and it still leaks. the seal is way to thin for the groove it sits in. Had to use gasket sealant to get it to hold oil . poor design.

This is the third DeWalt pressure washer that I have bought. The first two were the 3400 psi models. Are use these for business. They have made me thousands of dollars and have impressed many clients with how clean the machines in a surface or get their property. I did a big jobAnd knew that it would take me quite a long time with a 3400 psi so I went and bought the 4400 psi and I did a two day job in five hours. I used one 3400 psi and one 4400 and we knocked the job out quickly! I notice a huge difference between the two. I did notice that the 4400 used almost twice the amount of gas, but it is almost double in cc’s. The 3400 is a 200cc Honda engine and the 4400 is a 398cc Honda engine. When I pulled it out of the box, and put oil in it. My 11yr old Son started it first pull! I used it for 5 hrs straight with no problems.

Performed far better than advertised. Has the power to do just about any job. Use only the recommended accessories; the power output is so high that attaching any extra accesories makes them to almost fly off.

4000 psi, powerful, dependable, able to put on back of truck without help, bsome may need help because its heavy!

I purchased mine in October 2018 & it is still performing like new. It is powerful & perfect for a homeowner, just be sure to be cautious with it's power. Unlike my last pressure washer it is easily movable. The large wheels make going over grass, gravel & other surfaces easy. I like the large fuel tank, easy start & powerful motor. Don't be intimidated by this pressure washer. It's easy to learn, start. & maintain. I just took it out of storage so I can clean the siding on my home to remove mildew & bug poop & to clean my driveway & sidewalk (with a surface cleaner). I use Simple Green Pro HD & it combined with this powerful pressure washer will get the job done right the first time without going over it again. I'm 100% satisfied & recommended!

I just bought it, it looks great it seems to work great. Only time will tell how durable and how good of a quality job it does. But the bad is right out of the box the yellow paint that is on the knob holder we're in big letters it says dewalt the paint was chipped and cracked and that same piece had screws that were sticking out they were crooked didn't go in properly. I worked in manufacturing for several years now and I've seen people return products many times for things like that. Also it's not really a big problem as of right now but the tires are pneumatic and a lot of my equipment that uses pneumatic tires tend to go flat. This pressure washer would have been so much nicer with the right solid plastic and rubber Wheels.

I buy a ton of dewalt products! Alot of products very good. But all dewalts power washers do not meet expectations. The product always has parts wearing out within warranty periods, even without using the parts that control pressure and they cost 1/4 of the cost of the machine to fix. The warranty is complete and utter garbage, its written so they can cherry pick when and if they feel like warrantying the product.. The product didnt work very long when I owned it, nor when I had the part replaced twice. I suggest a different manufacturer when it comes ot power washers. Its expensive junk!

long time user of pressure washers in general. it's a mover that's for sure. I love how well and fast it cleans. definitely not recommended for smaller spaces.

Bought it about a week and a half ago. So far so good..... washed the back patio off as well as the back side of the house with siding and brick mixed. - Easy start - Plenty power - Easy cleaner mixing tube

The injector was too small for the machine. It did not syphon product. The nozzle was not user friendly with the grip that swiveled around and around ridiculously. The white tip I used for cleaning brand new had a line on each side of the spray pattern. I had to go and replace the nozzle, tips and injector the first day I used it. Very disappointed with it.

Love it! This power washer is a beast! Honda motor is generally quiet compared to most small engines and that is a plus for me. The pump has plenty pressure to work with and comes with a pressure adjustment knob to adjust from about 1300 psi to 4000 psi. Love it!

Quick and simple to set up. Add oil that comes with it and gas. Attach the handle and you're good to go. I use this in my commercial Property Maintenance company. Great power and water flow. Combine with the DeWalt surface cleaner and you're doing sidewalks and driveways in no time flat without having to use chemicals. Worth the extra money to have quality equipment that works harder than you do.

Very strong machine

Oil cap comes off easily leaving the plug in place. Is this normal or a defect in the unit I purchase less than a week ago?

Powerful & reliable. Note that it's best to use non ethanol gas. This makes starting easy.

Great product! Reliable and powerful! I used it to clean my house roof by down streaming bleach with soap. See before & after pics. Note to only use non ethanol gasoline to avoid the pressure washer startup problems.

I bought the 4200 dewalt pressure washer 4 years ago and I just bought the 4400 dewalt so I could warranty the pump. Still starts with 1 pull. No problem when sending to warranty. Great tool to invest in.

Dewalt Honda GX 390 4,200 psi, 4GPMGas Gas Pressure Washer. This is a great machine. (Caution ) this model is only recommended for Trained Professionals. You can damage wood or other materials if you don't operate it with caution. I used it on a concrete driveway with a turbo tip and it is Phenomenal. I recommend this product for Professionals who are interested in a good commercial model.
