I purchased this Dewalt Grinder to assist with sharpening my riding mower blades. I have a lot of Dewalt cordless equipment so I wanted to make good use of the batteries I have already. First, I will say this grinder has some serious torque. Just by activating the trigger you feel the tool twist in your hand from the torque. Pros: Great Power Ease of accessing tight spots Ease of changing disc Grinder guard is easily adjusted without tools 3 year limited warranty Comes with battery and charger(starter kit) 5 inch grinding wheel included 8000 rpm motor Compatible with Dewalt batteries Cons: Weight of 6 pounds I used this grinder to sharpen my mower blades and as you can see it did a great job. It was easy to control and the brake for the disc slowed the grinder pad soon after I released the trigger. This will prevent unwanted damage and injury. This is a tool you didn't know you needed, until you don't have it. I have attached photos of the mower blades. This tool is a beast and has multiple uses! battery life run shorter than the regular 2.0Ah. this power stack battery not efficiency everything else is okay.

Bought these because I had accidentally left my spare battery DC9096 and charger behind and would not be back for 3 months to where they were. So I purchased these, big mistake!!! They do not hold a charge for very long. I can fully charge one, set it on the shelf for 2 days go to use it and it’s dead!!! Will not even power my flashlight for an hour!!! Wish I could return but did not keep receipt!!!!

When my son was young I had a basketball hop installed in our yard. The installer not only cemented the post into the ground he poured cement into the post. I wanted to remove it but couldn't decide which power tool to purchase for the project. I originally decided on a reciprocating saw but decided it wouldn't cut the post as close to the ground as this DeWALT Grinder. This tool did the job perfectly. However, the grinding disc supplied with the tool wasn't quite suitable to the job so I purchased a Rigid Metal Cutting Diamond Blade. This combination was perfect for the project and did exactly what I wanted. It not only cut through the steel but the cement as well. I would highly recommend this tool as well as DeWALT tools as well!

Since i cant get ahold of custumer service and got hung up on so, ill leave a review. The grinder is great, the bonus wheels didn’t show up. So im a little disappointed about that

I bought this in april it is now august. Ive used the battery maybe 5 times and now it wont hold a charge for longer than 5 minutes.

GREAT CHARGER! I'VE HAD THIS ONE JUST A MONTH NOW AND LOVE IT. NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH IT OR PAST MODELS EITHER THAT I'VE OWNED. ALL MY POWER TOOLS ARE DEWALT. THIS HAS A NICE NEW SLEEK DESIGN. WORKS PERFECTLY LIKE ALL MY DEWALT TOOLS!

Average tool not what I expected from dewalt tools it did the job but jet I feel the tool lacked the power you expect and expencive first time a dewalt tool did not meet my expectstions.

works as intended- slapped the cup grinder on this baby and the mortar magically disappeared...even taking with it the dust after putting on the dust shroud. Simple, easy to use and put together, easy to hold and if you already have a couple 20v batteries this is a great value addition to use with those batteries.

Gets the job done, fast charging, good buy for the whole set (tool/battery/charger) with the sale price. It's a small saw but cuts most wood sheet thicknesses. I've cut down up to 2inch panels. Only had it for 2-3 weeks and already did over 30 cuts but still works fine. Just didn't like that the sawdust blows everywhere, can cover up where I am trying to cut.
